Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Zizic getting some burn may not be bad at all. If He can play backup 5 then he will be playing with Delly. Delly won't overlook him getting a guard on him in the post. Delly probably will get it to Zizic down low instead of top of the key. I haven't seen a single player on the team besides Cedi show any awareness of how to play with a post player at all.

The more I think about it, the more i like this period before the deadline showcasing our vets for trades, and then playing TT with the Young guys after the deadline when the dead weight is gone and the young guys can play out the rest of the year with our 2 best players in TT and Love.

Sprained foot is much better than it could have been. That looked super painful, and he tried to walk it off, and you could tell it actually got worse the longer he stayed on.

My opinions of TT have been all over the place. His recent play has caused me to think that maybe he just wasn’t given the opportunity to “grow” offensively because there wasn’t space for it due to Kyrie and Lebron being here.

We will probably solidify ourselves as the worst team in the league during his absence... high draft pick.

Maybe this will help Zizic as injuries helped Collin.

Hopefully Im wrong....but we’re going to suck

I am sure Zizic will get some burn, but neither he nor fry can anchor the rebounding like Tristan can.

How about we trade him to Orlando for Mozgov and the Brooklyn Pick?
The added thing is no one else is a solid rebounder unless I am overlooking someone?

This feels oddly similar to Varajeo when he was playing well in 2010-2012. He would get hurt as the trade deadline approach and kill his value. Hopefully TT will be fully healthy in a month and can show he is 100% while playing like he has this season. I just hope there isn't any lingering effects as we get close to the trade deadline.

I also wouldn't bring him back till the 4 to 6 week mark. Let him heal up completely. He only needs a couple weeks to show his trade value.

I'm hoping this will happen. Maybe it will push the front office to move TT if Zizic can step up. I think we thankfully got Delly at exactly the right time. Delly should be paired with Zizic as much as possible to get him comfortable and have someone who can get him the ball in proper spots with proper timing.

This season sucks.
I know I am probably the only but I am kind of enjoying the rebuild.
If LBJ stayed no way we getting over GSW. Hell with the Celtics, Sixers, Bucks, Raptors, Pistons I don't think we would have made it out of the conference. very little flexibility to improve. if we knew LBJ was staying we would have traded #8 for a 30 year old vet.
We got a championship and the run was over. Bottom line anyway was LBJ and Savannah wanted to be in LA

Now, I think we have one piece that we might be start the rebuild with in sexton. Some complimentary rotation type pieces in TT, Osman and Nance, maybe zizic but this organization seems to not even want to give him a chance A hopefully top 5 pick or higher in the next draft. Starting to accumulate some assets.
JR' can still be moved Still have Love in the the back pocket. Delly back as almost a player coach

at the trade deadline I would kill all heads of the "three" familes
JR, Clarkson, Hood

TT being out 2-3 weeks enhances the tank and hopefully forces them to play zizic to see if anything is there.

we get to see people like blossomgame, jalen jones.....come on it a ball, lol

Seriously though, would like to see 10 days of bonzi

TT is Mr empty stats. Watch him get stats and suck at the same time against the bucks.

Blossomgame was surprisingly good last night. Double double 11pts 10 rebounds and 2 assists. He has hops, and his defense is decent.

If he continues to start at the 4 I am cool with that for now.

sorry, I have never heard his surname before so.......

You can see how Blossomgame families moved over time by selecting different census years. The Blossomgame family name was found in the USA in 1920. In 1920 there were 4 Blossomgame families living in Georgia. This was 100% of all the recorded Blossomgame's in the USA. Georgia had the highest population of Blossomgame families in 1920.

And he is out for 2-4 weeks. A few things that comes to mind immediately:

- It is probably going to be a disaster
- Zizic can/must get some playing time
- Hood and Clarkson will even take more shots. I don't know if I can endure this.

2-4 weeks with a sprain:

If any were still in doubt about Smith's claims the team is tanking, this should remove all of it. All the vets are getting considerable time off for injuries that wouldn't sideline for as long if they were on competitive teams. First Love gets extended time off for a minor surgery, then Hill sits out with a minor injury before getting traded, and now this with TT.

FO lied to the players and fans this off-season; instead of competing, clearly they just want all the clueless young guys to chuck things up without any veteran guidance so they can cruise to about 15-20 wins and get a high pick next year. Problem is, if they anger all the vets enough, those young players may be left alone with no structure to actually learn how to get any better. No team ever wins without veteran leadership. Championship teams are led by players in their late twenties and early thirties, not 20 year olds.

I think if he they hadn't lost Love immediately and had been even slightly competitive the story would be different. Vets on expirings were all going to get traded though.

I have not minded a single player that has come back in trades at all. I think Burks, Delly, and Henson are all guys that can help. Henson may never play for us though.

Delly has already shown leadership on the floor. Burks is not an efficient player, but he plays the right way. Love the Leadership TT has shown so far, and these other guys seem to be good dudes. Not much more you can ask for.

JR and any other malcontent vet needs to look in the mirror and seriously ask if the record is as bad as it is because of our rookie and sophomore players, or because the vets aren't nearly as good as they thought they were? The second he left the team was better. It was his job to coach these guys along and get them playing to their potential, but all the evidence we have says he was an anchor.

TT's injuries were severe . its a testament to his conditioning and athleticism that he was able to play at all during the regular season.

Team knows he came back from both injuries too soon and they are taking precautions to make sure any minor sprains don't turn into a lingering injury.

I don't want TT out there playing hurt.

"They didn't chop my foot off so I'll be fine," Thompson said after the game on Monday night. "It's a little swollen but I'll be alright... It happens when you're rebounding and the little guys are down there. It's part of the game. I'm just glad I was able to walk off on my own two feet.

"Obviously I wanted to finish the game out, but what's important now is to get back right and get back on the court as soon as I can to go out there and fight with my teammates"

More Zizic and more frye… isn't this what everyone wanted anyways lol

Thank you Paul Harvey. Good Day!

It isn't "hopes" in this case.
Frye can't play a ton of minutes at his age.
I know Nance will be used at the 5 spot but he will have trouble a lot trying to play bigger men.
This isn't just about TT being out of the lineup for a few minutes but several weeks so coach has to use what he has to fill the void.
So far no White Wiltmas yet...
