Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
His desire and motor trumps everyone he's playing against... He wants a rebound, the kid gets it. I've seen multiple times these first two games he gets his own miss between like 3 opposing defenders and puts it back in or gets fouled. He's a bully under the rim really, yes Tristan even though he's not a huge body.

I don't necessarily think the plan was to go away from him. But that's just what happens with Miles and Jack. Miles we know about. He makes a shot or two, he's going to continue shooting. But if there was one big warning that the Golden State fans had about Jack, it's that he's pretty damn shoot-first. It's what he does. Now, he's good at it, so I don't complain. But when the line-up has both Miles and Jack on the floor, it's probably going to result in our big men not getting a ton of touches.

Looks confident. However, they need to temper him a bit to maximize his out put. He still gets a little out of control, but otherwise looks like one of the best on the floor.
He does look awkward at times but the difference between this year and last is that he has a post game. He makes good head fakes and is now getting fouled instead of blocked. And since his free throws have improved he has become hard to defend. It is unbelievable how much better his outside shot looks now. To me he was the best player on the floor for the Cavs last night.

If he keeps this up, he will be an All-star this year. Coaches love these type of players.

Best player on the floor 2 games in a row. Crazy.

Tristan, at large, is why I'm not concerned with our loss last night. When Irving and Waiters start to click (and they will) this team will do big things.

Tristan is already there. When the other guys get into it the action, sky's the limit.

Amen. But what the hell do we do with Bennett if TT is an All Star?

Why do we need to do anything with him. There is no problem with having 2 promising young pfs on rookie contracts on a team.

Tristan has to be the leading candidate for Most Improved Player. Isolating him on the block is our best scoring option.

I'll pitch that package plus their pick to Sacto for Boogie Cousins.

In what world....

Cousins currently looking like the best center in the league and is approaching the point of "will never be traded unless for another superstar." Right now, he's more valuable than Harden was at the time Harden was traded.

No doubt. Tristan has been our best player ...clearly... this season. I'm envious of enventually having Thompson and Bynum starting, with Varejao doing what he truly does best ..being an energy big off bench.

Did anyone else notice Thompson spraining his ankle in the 4th? He grabbed it instantly and didn't look comfortable the last few minutes.

I'm wondering if he'll struggle with it a bit tonight.
