Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Amen. But what the hell do we do with Bennett if TT is an All Star?

Yeah, it's not like anyone needs front-court depth, especially since our centers are made of glass......

Who do we have to play the backup PF minutes? Varejao is too much of a risk with extended playing time.

One of the plays that really stood out to me from the game last night was the time Tristan got the ball almost under the basket surrounded by about 3 defenders. He went up quick and strong for the two handed jam. The second it went in I thought to myself "that would have been blocked last year". He just has so much confidence with the ball in his hands right now and knows what to do with it. Such a great sight to see knowing how far he's come.

I feel that it is my duty to point out how crappy Tristan Thompson was today since Bennett is getting dumped on. Despite only playing 12 minutes, Bennett actually out rebounded Tristan who played 35 minutes tonight. Tristan, you were awesome in the previous two games, but your performance tonight reminded me of early last year when you were sucky playing next to Andy. i do appreciate that left handed jump hook that you made tonight that gave you your only two points of the contest.

I hope it's because he had a bad game and not because of what looked like an ankle twist at the end of the Bobcats game. Either way, he was okay on the defensive side but a non-factor on offense. Did not have the spring he had in his legs the night before.

David West also sucked. That guy is usually a Cav killer and I hate him. Could it be that they canceled each other out?

His usage rate was only 7.7% and maybe he was tired from back to backs. I expect him to adjust just like always and study the film.

Not worried.

TTs impact is more than being on court. He probably has one of the better and genuine personalities in the league. He is and will be the stabilizing force in our locker room. He also has better leadership skills than kyrie, imo.

Agree with this. Get Waiters out of town before he loses any value that he has. TT was a big man that needed time to develop; Waiters is a volume shooting two guard with a low basketball IQ.

Give me a break. Dion is one year into his career and AV was a 14-14 last year before his injury and is doing an excellent job working in combination with Bynum so far this season. He'll finish his career with the Cavs if we're smart.

How did this thread turn into a trade about Kevin Love, and if he would want to come to Cleveland or even have a choice.

I for one, am excited to see TT tonight, good match up for him, would like to see 20 & 10 from him tonight.

As someone that grew up playing with Tristan, I can personally vouch for his work ethic. Based on it and the development that I've seen from him, Tyson Chandler reminds me of a poor man's TT. A good defender, who will become great as he contiguous to work on it. He also has a much better offensive game than Chandler has ever had in his career and it will just get better. I see him as a solid 18/10 player will really good defense. I'm really looking forward to seeing how his overall production is this season and if it's maintained.

A new user that has something positive to say about one of our young players? What is this shenanigans...
