Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
When I get back home from school, I post our yearbook for you. But if I didn't know him before, how would I know that his elementary school was Robert J. Lee Public School located on Mountainash Avenue in Brampton. Or that the coaches for our elementary school team was Mr. Griffiths and Mr. Myers. Look it up, I'm sure you can find it somewhere on the internet or maybe a twitter response.

If we could confirm it on the internet wouldn't we have been able to find it ourselves and pretend that we went there also? :chuckles:

Just kidding with you, I have no reason to doubt it.

As amazing as he looked in the first two games, he has looked equally pedestrian in the last 3.

Gave us pretty much nothing in a heavy dose of minutes tonight.

He looks injured, at least that is what I hope is the reason he has regressed in the past 3 games.
The whole team looks lost on offense, I really hope we see some progression in the next 2-3 weeks.

Did they change some strategy on the offensive end? Trish didnt get much touches these 2 games

I totally agree, but I must say that I love that it was you that made this post.

Tristan looks tentative offensively now that he has a few more options... Never looks sure when to be aggressive, when to take jumper, etc.

The Andy effect is starting to happen. Andy is out there grabbing all the rebounds and is the main big man operating with Kyrie in the screen roll.

7 rebounds to 8 rebounds.

Definitely his least effective game tonight, but the game was so guard oriented I didn't really mind.

I didn't check the stats. Felt like andy had more boards than he did. Saw a few o boards down the stretch and a whole lot Andy and Kyrie 2 man where Tristan really wasn't involved.

Had the Bucks missed some of those bad 3s the second half, the Cavs would have dominated on the boards. As it was, they didn't have a lot of chances to grab rebounds.

But, as to the Andy effect, it's one game. Last game Thompson was far more effective than Varejao and the game before, in Indiana, neither were able to do much of anything on offense. But that's Indiana, where opposing big men aren't allowed to play half as physical as Hibbert and West are, so that's a wash.

I think Thompson is battling some sort of injury. He was a freak in the Nets game. Looked great in the Bobcats game. I think he has an ankle injury. Would explain the lack of explosiveness and assertiveness.

People think Irving is hiding and injury and now Thompson? We're like...a week into the season. Do we have the most brittle roster in the league?

I don't think that. He had an ineffective game. The last game he had 12-11 and held Kevin Love, the best PF in the league right now, to 17 points on 20 shots. One game.
