Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Would have only played 27 minutes were it not for overtime, when he was defending Nene really well and hitting his jumper. Just no idea what Mike wants at times.

Are we all in agreement TT should be playing more than 27 minutes a game?

That is what it would have been minus OT.

What is Mike Brown's problem?

Tristan got into foul trouble and lost a few minutes there. Also Clark was playing well as the stretch 4 and that cut a few of his minutes. Mike Brown was very fair with his minutes tonight.

Him, Kyrie, and Dion should all be playing at least 36 minutes a night.

So are people expecting an improvement from TT every game now?

TT was great. I know Clark was hitting some important jumpers, but Nene was killing us at the same time. TT would have played better D and rebounded better.

He found a lineup that got the team back into the game and eventually got the win. Instead of his robotic substitutions that people complain so much about, he went with what happened to be working best tonight. That, and early foul trouble for Tristan.

He had 3 fouls entering the fourth. He was never in foul trouble, so I'm not sure where that's coming from.

I mean his first 8 minute stint on the bench, after he had scored 5 points on 2 shots and was really beating Nene up on D came when he had 1 foul.

EDIT: People, when Thompson spent 8 straight minutes on the bench in the first half, he had 1 foul. When he spent the first 8 minutes of the 4th quarter on the bench (and like the last 4 of the third) he had 3 fouls. There was no foul trouble.

Maybe I was mistaking but when he picked up a is third foul I remember him walking to the bench, but not checking out, then checking out the very next possession.

Just looked at NBA.com play by play, Tristan picked up his 3rd foul with 2:03 in the second qtr. so like I said he lost A COUPLE of minutes due to foul trouble. Jack came in for him with 1:34 in the second. He picked up the foul with 2:03

Yeah I'm at a loss as to why he came in with less than 5 minutes left in the 4th

We won the game, who cares. Also Clark was playing great.

Clark was playing great, but as soon as Gortat and Nene were both in there, we shouldn't have left Clark at the 4. That's just asking for trouble.
