Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The commentator though: "I can't believe he didn't get a call."

Um, TT went straight up lol.

I think the commentator said "He" can't believe he didn't get a call. NBA players always think they didn't foul, and always think they got fouled. No surprise there.

Is it time we start TT?

+/- per 100 possessions

TT: On-court: +8.7 On-Off: +10
Andy: On-court: +.4 On-Off: -7.6 (it has only been 22 games, but this would be the first time he would ever have a negative On-off)

Irving-James-Marion-Love-Varejao lineup:

111 ORtg, 103 DRtg, net +8 per 100 possessions

Irving-James-Marion-Love-TT lineup:

124 ORtg, 96 DRtg, net +28 per 100 possessions

If this keeps up he'll be starting. Perhaps the starting lineup needs a guy that can play strong around the rim more than it needs a versatile Varejao. TT has been feeding off opportunities created by our stars, both easy buckets and offensive boards created by the vacuum of space left in the paint. Varejao's main strengths however are duplicated or surpassed by guys like Love and Lebron (for example Love could be running the pick and pop instead of Varejao). Varejao, of course, would still be very effective with second unit guys like Waiters and Delly.

TT is stronger than Av now. I think it is the main difference You see Blatt go to him early when there is a bruiser in there.

TT is becoming the better PnR player, better bruiser and a better rim protector.
I don't get why we played a regressing AV so much, I fucking love the guy, he's the soul of the franchise but still.
I'm starting to appreciate TT though.

No activity in here. I guess he isn't fucking up so bad.

This will be a major test for him today. There arent many more physical specimens than Drummond.

I think he's been playing his role well over the last month. Hasn't been trying to do too much on offense like he had in the past.

Probably worth 12-13$mil a yr in this role at his current level of production based on per 36 numbers and the figuring in the upcoming CBA.

I love this guy. Not the most naturally skilled, but he works hard as shit and is a team first player.

He really does. Who knows if he'll ever be able to be anything on offense or a really good defender, but he's giving his all out there.

Last four games: 40 mpg 15/12.8 (5.8 offensive)/1.3 blocks

59% shooting

I still can't believe people were thinking I was crazy when I said TT will easily get 10-12 mill in the open market. Hell he could get more from a shitty team in need of a high durability PF

Agree. What Tristan lacks is a natural feel for the game. But as you say what he does have in his effort and durability is off the charts great. And his attitude is fantastic.

He is doing his job out there, no doubt.
