Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I like my glue guys to not be able to make jump shots, not get defensive rebounds, beat up in the post, blocked at the rim, not blocking shots, or taking charges. Give me all of that for 11 million a year please.
Ughh...TT is a role player, but I have not seen anything special from him..every time I see a lot of other PF's they just seem more capable .

Tristan Thompson is Philip Seymour Hoffman from Along Came Polly: high energy, no touch.

MAKE IT RAIN

Also, the whole team plays defense like germaphobe Ben Stiller

TT should not have turned down $12 million/year.

From today's Woj article:
Thompson's a rebounder, a defender, an energy guy. He isn't a starter on a playoff team, but he has a good attitude, a good motor and could be a role player anywhere in the NBA. Paul isn't the first agent to leverage one more prominent client's extension against another, nor the last.

Even so, at what price? Within the NBA, officials expected maybe $10 million a year, perhaps $12 million if Klutch wanted to push it. Well, they kept pushing it. Thompson turned down a $13-million-a-year extension offer – four-year, $52 million, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

He turned down $13 million/year. Absolutely insane. He is worth half that.

Should've given TT Andys contract and gave Andy 5 mil per

What is Griffin doing tho

Was he really ok with TT at 12, andy at 10, love at 17

Dudes agent fucked him

You mean LeBron fucked him? Because he is essentially Tristan's agent/representation. Rich Paul is merely a figure head for LeBron's budding empire.

Wow, TT/Rich Paul cost themselves a lot of cash... After this season I'll be surprised if someone besides us would offer him more than 9 mil a season.

Should've given TT Andys contract and gave Andy 5 mil per

Andy's deal should have been 2 years 16 million, second year non guaranteed
Tristans at best, sweetheart Klutch Sports deal should be no more than 4 for 32.

After this season I'll be surprised if someone besides us would offer him more than 9 mil a season.

All that matters is if we are willing to offer it.

I hope we take a hardline stance though and tell them to go pound salt.

How the heck did Thompson turn that down?

We won't (hopefully) offer him that again and he won't get it anywhere else.

I think Tristan is such a high quality individual with such a great attitude, that he rejected the offer to give the team more future flexibility. He's looking to sign for a discount. Great team player.
