He must think this team is like Denver and don't have any star players. That's why Faried got his over priced contract. Well that and playing like a beast for Team USA. TT is not as good as Faried. Faried is a better rebounder and knows how to finish around the paint.

Look at all those write-ups. ALL OF THEM. NOTHING in there screams "top 4 pick." There's no talk of upside, great athleticism, high ceilings, nothing. I was stunned then and still stunned.

At least he played a pretty good game tonight.

Like I said in the game thread, I think Tarik Black is even a better player and he is on a minimum contract. He does everything Tristan does but probably even better at defense, and definitely better at finishing.

I don't have the stats to back up my claims, but I could tell watching the game today they are close in skillset and value to a team, and I think Black might even be better.

TT is a GREAT garbage man. His effort tonight definitely contributed to our win. Grabbing offensive rebounds left and right and played pretty good D down the stretch.

TT's problem is that he thinks he is better then he is. He is already getting paid way more than typical garbage man players but yet he wants more?

For $13 million THIS year, you could have Omer Asik, Kenneth Faried, Gorgui Dieng, and Jared Sullinger. Not one of them, ALL OF THEM and we would STILL have about $3 million to spare.

We unfortunately paid TT 4th pick money and it's apparent we have inflated his sense of self-worth. If the Cavs pay him because he is Lebron's buddy, I will have lost complete faith in both Gilbert and Griffin. These two need to grow a pair and stop slobbering all over Lebron's knob. LBJ isn't going anywhere.

You realize this is completely irrelevant, right? Plus, can you fault Thompson for wanting top dollar?... not to mention no official numbers have been released.

How is it irrelevant? Typically, when paying an employee, you look at similar job positions, outside of your organization to determine their salary.

All those players are putting up the same or better numbers.

While i can't fault Thompson for wanting top dollar, i can fault him for overvaluing his worth. I will be very curious what other teams will be willing to offer him.
