can there be a way that we can disable these videos from showing? I know many of us have pictures turned off so we can browse the forum without having to worry about what is shows up on our screens. having these autoplay videos flies in the face of that.

it would be really nice to have a disable button.

I don't know what's possible in the next forum software update, but maybe one of these options will be useful depending on your browser (and if you use adblock plus):

Since it's semi-related, do you know if there's a way to turn off autoplay for espn's videos when linking them? I'm clueless if I can or not, all I know is it autoplays when linked.

I have no idea, although I'm sure ESPN is happy they autoplay by default.

What I suggest for those videos is to include a link to the espn URL (article + video) that takes you to a different page, because everyone hates embedded video that autoplays with sound.
