Cleveland Cavaliers' Notes
*Cavaliers have a current 4 game winning streak rolling into this game with a division foe..

*A revenge game for the Cavaliers to say the least, as the Pacers smacked them around on thanksgiving...

Indiana Pacers Notes
*The Pacers come into Cleveland minus one Bipolar All-Star, but the depth that this team has can make up for some loses in the lineup... Rookie Danny Granger has stepped in nicely for Mr. Crazy..

LePiP's Tips for a Victory
*Contain Tinsley... Sure, O'neal is the All Star, but Tinsley makes this team go... He penetrates well, and can hit the outside shot...

*Keep them off the glass... No need to give a good team a second chance to kill ya'...

*"Z" is finding his groove, so if that holds true, he can get anything he wants.. Get the ball to "Z" and get his man in foul trouble...

*LeBron should be able to dominate a Artestless Pacers team, not only should it help LeBron, but Larry now can step in and drive against a lesser opponent offensively... Hopefully all is well with Larry, and he can focus at the task at hand...

*Keep up the solid floor spacing for the perimeter threats... That has looked great as of late, so hopefully we can keep it up...Back 2 Back divisional wins is huge for this team...Get out and run on these guys...

Even without their all NBA DEFENDER, the Pacers still play 'stingy D'

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Awesome preview lepip, wherever you got that pic i'm glad you did that was hilarious. Almost as good as Ira's sweet chin music on dunleavy. Hopefully LeBron will attack them tomorrow without Artest. If Stephen Jackson is guarding them god help the Pacers it will be like when LeBron owned him in Atlanta 4 times a season. If Granger is, well it'll be worse because he is a rook and he has never guarded LeBron and LeBron will torch him.

We need to get Z off early, if he gets his early on builds his confidence he plays better all around. Snow needs to contain Tinsley. And it is going to be rough to compliment DJ tomorrow when they have their own sharpshooter coming off the bench in Sarunas...

Prediction: Cavs narrowly slip by a solid effort by Indy 104-101

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Thanks CDT.

I just hope LeBron doesn't try to do too much without Artest being there..

Also, I just want to put this out there:

MAKE SURE SOMEBODY IS ON "CAVS KILLER" AUSTIN CROSHERE PLEASE!!!!!!!...

I am sick and tired of watching him torch us on the perimeter year in and year out... :thumbdown

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Great preview LePip. We owe the Pacers after they killed us last game. Pay Back time baby! And i hope DJones outplays Saras as well. This game's gonna be tough.

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

It's time to reel the Pacers back in. You have TJ's endorsement. Sick em!!

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have tickets to this glorious, "Blue Christmas" Themed home game.
Section 109, Row A.
MUAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
I might be holding a sign endorsing RCF, so look out for a drunk asian kid in the front row spitting at the ref, and throwing beers at Artest.

On another note,

Tinsley is questionable after ramming into the ugliest alien in the NBA, Chris Kaman. He likely won't play.

We can torch them. We do well when they don't have Artest.

O'neal will be a problem. But if we get him into foul trouble, which he's very prone to trying to guard Z, then we could have a field day.

The key is to shoot better than we did last game. We should be able to do that. We've been on a good streak against good defensive teams, so this one should be no different, especially as it's at home.

I forsee a win here. Rock it up.

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Chris Kamen = Gary Busey + the quasimodo from the movie "The Goonies".

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Anthony Johnson is getting the start for the Pacers tonight.

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Ooh anyword on if Tinsley is going? If not this better be a sure fire W.

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Fast start for us 22-12 with 3:30 left, Larry and Drew scoring LeBron with some nice dishes!

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

29-14 they have no answer. Only one guy showed up in the 1st for them and it was JO with defense and offense. Everyone is doing something for the Cavaliers :)

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

29-16 after 1, strong effort on both ends, outside of O'Neal they have nothing going for them.

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Wow 46-27 Cavs with it being our ball this is sweet!!!

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Jamal Tinsley is playing, but doesn't look close to 100% ....he seems to clearly be having troubles with his neck ...in obvious discomfort. Which helps greatly given the problems that he poses to both Jones and Snow when healthy.

Game is going to our pace, but, we can get taken out of our game very easily by this team. The Pacers may not be 'on' their A game tonight, but, they know how to stick around and stay in games until they start to click ....you never write them off ...they are very well coached.

On an individual basis, Gooden is hanging in there gamely with JO, and Z is playing pretty well also ....as we head into the 2nd half where we'll need to see a boost is from Larry Hughes .....we'll need to start attacking the hoop as they will adjust their D outward ....at that point we'll need to have Lebron and Hughes attacking relentlessly and getting them into foul trouble. That's the key to finishing them off this game. We let them back in by relying on our outside game and turning it into a track meet in the second half. The second half will pose us with how we adapt to playoff style basketball to win a game. Keeping the pace of the game slowed down, attacking the hoop and defending the perimeter .....how effectively we execute this play pattern will bring a victory, and also show how far we're coming along in our ultimate progression into a playoff style basketball team.

Watch and evaluate ...

Re: Pacers @ Cavaliers

Can LBJ get the triple double. 7 rebounds, 8 assists in the third. He could get a double double and miss out on the points tonight.
