W Washington 99 Cleveland 114

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
being in baltimore, I saw the game with the washington broadcasting team and studio, and while these guys are definitely wizards fans, they can't stop saying great things about our cavs team

nice to hear

also nice for larry to get a win vs his former team and have a nice all-around performance on his bobble-head night

nice to see the game thread going 14 pages :)

More from the game later on.....

I just came back from the game!

My first time this year, and WOW, what an atmosphere.

Nice to get 2 Larry Bobble Heads. YEAH BABBY!

I missed the 1st quarter but it was nice to see the Cavs rebound from a rough start.

LeBron was huge offensively and unstoppable tonight.

Gooden once again plays well and then disappeared for a while. Fouls the problem tonight. Z was big in the 3rd when the Cavs began to take control. They have to look to him more earlier in the game. You can't ignore one of the top offensive C's in the game for long stretches.
Hughes came up big late but even when his shot wasn't falling earlier he still was contributing a ton. Hughes really was the primary PG tonight.
Maybe Snow played well in the 1st quarter but from the 2nd quarter on he basically did nothing besides dribble around some. He also passed up 2 open jumpers late in the shot clock and left teammates with no time to do anything after receieving the ball. Your PG has to be able to take shots like that.

Cavs have been dominate at home so far.

What they were saying before the game....

We will beat down the Cavs. Then I want to hear Arenas say **** Hughes and your house. - Wizz 4tw

For sure...I think Arenas will give King James a run for his money and soon people will be calling Gilbert "King Arenas"..I like the ring of that - Wizforlife

Hughes is a shoot chucking bum, glad we have a younger more durable, not to mention stronger Butler.-GilArenas88

What they were saying during the game....

Ok guys, whats going on...we had the lead and we now we're stinking up the joint. BAH - JOeisabigdork

Chalk this up to Arenas not having a good shooting night and just being careless with the ball. - Natecuz

Couldn't we atleast have made this close. Now, all that hype given to us will be flushed down the toilet. - Wizfan1984

What they were saying after the game....

Wow. Gil picked a particularly humiliating time to have one of his worst games as a Wizard. Ladies and gentlemen: Your NBA player of the week!

2-14 with 6 TOs and 9 points. Yuck. Couldn't really tell whether the awful showing was because he was uncomfortable trying to crush ex-buddy LH or because he wanted to too much or neither. Regardless, a real stinker just at the moment that he, and the team, were starting to get some real props. - LongSuffering

I'm starting to realize that Jarvis is no help to us unless he's hitting shots. He has no D. And his so called athleticism, well he only uses it to hoist up awkward, turn around, fade aways. - natecuz

well, that sucks. of course now that he's gone, larry can hit 3-pointers. it sucks that we lost, but we'll get them again on february. - JCav06

The funny thing is, the refs really sucked the first half. That's the only reason why the game was close. Terrible, terrible calls. But good thing that the Wizards were too weak to use that to their advantage. Soon enough, they realized how much better and more balanced the Cavs were than they.

Everyone did a great job tonight. LeBron totally owned everybody. Z worked in the post. Damon Jones penetrated and passed well. Had a crappy one, but that's alright. Marshall was his old self, Drew did well in limited minutes (could have done a bit better on Jamison), Snow did what Snow does, all in all, great game.

Hughes completely shattered Arenas. Passing, scoring, stealing, you name it, he was all over the place and limiting Arenas to nearly half his average. Great night out for Hughes, I'm glad his intensity was enough to slam the brakes on Gilbert.

Here's a misc avatar that I had no other place to display.....

They tried the first quarter and were down 8-0, was not working early. I disagree with this though anyways. The offense should be run through LBJ and Hughes who have been setting up easy shots for everyone.

Oh that is a hot AV. If I didn't want to slow down the pages, I would so claim that AV RIGHT NOW! lol

Yeah. That was weird. After his tip-in attempts and whatever he was 0-6 in the first 2 minutes and then they stopped giving him the ball for a while.
