Preview Of LeBron James First Sit Down On His Return To Cleveland

Holy shit. EVERYONE needs to hear that last 10 seconds about him being quicker... "That's not such a good thing for the competition."

Holy WHAT!? Just the way he says that has me more pumped than anything since he announced he was back.

Is it just me, or has he actually learned the real definition of 'humble'?

Well whatever, let's just pray it actually gives us what we've been dying for for the last 50+ years. On the bright side, because he's managed to go through a championship parade twice previously before coming back, he'll probably be ready for the promised land.

I would advise against expecting the world at this point. There are few points in the NBA's lifespan that one should expect the championship mat after not having any real success. The only one I can think of that it worked out so well was when the Sixers went 'fo, 'fo, 'fo after acquiring Moses Malone. Additionally, the Sixers in '65 weren't able to get the job done, nor did the Lakers in '69, nor the Celtics in '73, a certain player broke his foot in '76, the Celtics with Bird in '80, the Phoenix Suns and Knicks in '93, the Spurs in '95, the Jazz in '98, the Heat in '99, the Lakers in '04, the Mavs in 2006, a certain lucked into the Finals in 2007, and a certain team lost due to circumstances (2009 and 2010), the Heat in 2011 and 2014.

If there's one thing I learned from high expectations, it's that you shouldn't have any before you reach the promised land. While we might be able to pull it off this time, you shouldn't expect too much before the book is written.

I'm grateful for what we received, but it's not to the promised land yet. Let's pray we can do it.

Troof.

I think he has learned it, but I also don't think it is new... I sort of sensed it from him for over a year now. I am sure there is plenty of ego there, but he has learned a lot and grown a lot. It shows.

Can someone just post a hard link to that video? This quoted post isn't working on my tablet.

So, Rachel Nicols basically owns all of journalism now, right? She's basically killing it right now. (In the good sense)

Looks like people speculating that he had been playing in the 270s were probably spot on.

His frame is amazing that he was able to still appear somewhat quick at 270-280. The way he laughs and says he hasn't been in his current weight class in a long time and then when pressed says "250ish".... Fucking guy dropped a ton of weight and is still in the 250s, insane.

I'm so fucking pumped!!!

Lebron is down to about 250ish?!?!

"Are you faster on the court, Lebron?"

Yes, I am, and that's not so good for the competition.

Wow, I can't wait for this season to start! What was he playing at in Miami? Like 280? Wow..

You know, I'm actually a little surprised that people thought that LeBron would be playing close to 280 lbs. Didn't we learn from Kobe, Pierce, and MJ that removing the weight so they can move around like they did at 25 would be the preferred disposition for swingmen?

This just didn't shock me years ago, why would it shock me now?
