LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the narrative is that LeBron James is the savior of Cavaliers basketball and ultimately The Chosen One to end the drought, shit...they can push it all they want. Because it's 100% true. I always saw him as the guy to finally end the suffering. I was mad when he left but I held out the hope he would return like the prodigal son on a floating silver disc and be like "Follow me to glory!"

And goddam, he did. The story writes itself. Like I said, there is but one more chapter to write.

Whatever reason LeBron came back, I think it's a given he loved the fans here more compared to Miami.

I think I know what you're saying. Delly hits a half court shot to win the game in game 7 of the finals and LeBron carries him around on his shoulders. Fans storm the court but James Blair ironically stays put in the stands.

The next morning I'm crouched naked in front of the mirror, I slowly start to rise, then I spend the rest of the day walking around like a cyborg.

The Cavs organization will remember the James who liked to joke around and plan pregame routines and then run away when ownership and the front office came to him when they needed real help. It wasn't that James failed as a recruiter for free agents and coaches his first time in Cleveland, it was that he wasn't even interested in taking part.

Those days are over.

Alright...

Let's do this...

I freaking love this. If the background wasn't so poor and the text on the bottom so distracting, this would definitely earn a spot on the ol' wallpaper.

That has actually been my wallpaper for the last couple months.

Obligatory still can't believe it post... our climb back to the top of the basketball world starts today. Four years of embarrassing defeats and lopsided losses are about to be re-paid in full.

Brace yourselves Bulls fans. Bend over now Detroit, you know it's coming. The King has returned, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are back.

What I'll respect LeBron most for is that he was able to produce, big numbers consistently at 19 years old. By the time he was 21, he was a top 2-3 player in the game. Factor in the work ethic, and the amount of tread on the tires, and he's a genuine freak of nature.

Hearing him say "at 270 I can still fly above the rim" knowing he's about 250, and "I'm quicker now" let's take a trip down memory lane, LBJ right about 21 yrs old.

This is the LeBron I remember, this season he had an absolutely absurd amount of And-1's. He could tiptoe through the lane like none other, and finish through contact too. Come to think of it, Brendan Haywood was one of those punks from the Wizards that would hammer LBJ and take cheap shots.

To think how many times I have heard......

"dude if Boozer never left the Cavs, we'd have won a championship."

C-You-Next-Tuesday. I'll take Kevin Love, and an old school LeBron, the high flyer, the Akron kid who finally reached his full potential.

Irving, Waiters, Marion, Miller.

How awesome is it that we took two Canadians with holes in their games, plus a Miami Heat draft pick that we skanked from Miami so they could have their little welcome party. Now we turn it into Kevin Love, who might eventually be the best player LeBron has played with on any level. I don't think LeBron ever really played with the prime D-Wade, because Dwyane peaked very early. With LeBron's weight down we're going to see the absolute peak of LBJ's greatness.

See back when he was playing those Wizards, he was still thin, and he was basically trying to muscle his way to a title. Now he's not carrying the bulk, but he can still play in the post. See what I'm sayin? His IQ has grown, and by returning to his natural weight his game is going to ascend to the ultimate level.

Sure it's nice for LBJ to bang around in the post, but I'd rather have him playing wide out, using his strides and quickness.
