Farewell, Richard Jefferson.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love RJ but dude had two very careless and lazy turnovers last night in the second half. No idea why he threw those passes to LBJ the way he did but oh well!

I'm worried that he won't be fresh for the playoffs, but I remember having concerns with him this time last season as well.

Hopefully he is somewhat consciously saving himself.

And his one big contribution last night, the "rubber rim" three, was actually a goal tend by Frye and shouldn't have counted...rough game for RJ.

You're gonna have to post video of him touching it, because I really don't think anyone hit it. They thought about it... but didn't, at least as I saw.

He didn't touch the ball, but did hit the backboard and maybe even the rim while the ball was hovering after that first bounce, which is a goal tend.

I understand goal tending rules. I just did not see anyone touch anything. It was close, and both players jumped as if they wanted to, but I saw no contact made with ball, backboard, rim, or net.

Nor did the officials. That was a big moment, so honestly, I was wondering if that was a missed call.

He is a cheerleader. The only thing what he do right now are his snaps.

Typical overly negative fan reactions all up in this thread.

I absolutely knew he was going to miss those free throws the other day. I was saying at the time that he's been awful at the line all year, then I went and looked at his %. He's at 73%, but every time I see the dude shoot them, he misses at least one. Clearly my perceptions are a bit off, but generally he's been very bad at shooting anything but a layup or dunk this year.

Could you please stop watching Jefferson shoot free throws? His percentage will go up. The team thanks you. :chuckle:

He hit 1,000 and called it quits.

He's just not that good when he's being asked to be a spot up shooter...and/or he's hitting a mid-season old-folk wall hard.
