Reading that and the Mike Miller's article from yesterday and you just can not help but love the type of locker room guys they are and how quality they both seem as human beings. On the coaching side, Blatt is the general with Lue, Drew and Boylan as his lieutenants. On the playing side, LeBron is the general, with Miller, Jones, Marion and Andy as his lieutenants.

That is a professional crew that no how to win championships, how to prepare, how to stay focused, how to have fun, how to be great teammates. Kyrie, Love, Dion, Tristan, Delly, and any of the other younger guys that stick around are all having their careers and their mental approaches to being a winner enhanced by that leadership core.

James Jones: I wake up every day with the mindset that I’m on; that I’m always on. Like a 24-hour news channel – always on.

Ray Allen who? We got James Jones!

Seriously though his jumper is automatic. Really good shooter with a quick release. I see why LeBron was annoyed he wasn't playing more in Miami..

I absolutely agree. JJ will give us more minutes and probably a little more versatility as well. I'm comfortable with the squad we have right now - and even if we do get Allen, I have no idea where his minutes are going to come from.

He was out there hoopin in the same gear I do at the YMCA league. Sweats with a jersey barely tucked in. If he had on chuck taylors I'd say he was stealing my style.

Lol, myoung said he probably had his house keys in his pocket.

When I first saw him I thought he was an NBA ref with that grey shirt and black pants. When kyrie threw "the ref" the ball at half court and got it back, I thought it was like Shawn Marion letting a fan inbound the ball.

So the question has to be asked: Why doesn't James Jones get any minutes? An answer other than "because he doesn't play any defense" is preferable, given the majority of our bench doesn't play defense either.

I'll answer your question with another: Who do you want him to replace? The obvious answer right now is Will Cherry, but Delly is the one who will be playing those minutes.

Jones isn't going to play ahead of Dion.

I personally prefer Joe Harris because he has more game than Jones does.

I just don't understand what playing James Jones would accomplish.

Yeah there's no reason Jones and Miller shouldn't see playing time in a blowout when guys like Kirk and Harris are out there. Why did we bring them in if we're not going to play them? There's no harm in playing them during garbage time anyways.

I don't think Alex Kirk's two minutes of playing time have anything to do with James Jones or Mike Miller.
