Honestly. What's with some of these fucking shots he's firing up?

Some are contested as shit. It's like LeBron told him to just shoot every time he touches the ball.

True but have you seen those awful screens we set to get him open?

I don't think people realize that this is what Korver looked like during his first 2 games here where he couldn't hit a shot to save his life. Whatever we were doing during his godlike sniping, we stopped it and went to the old ways.

LeBron tells his guys to do just that. JR has said it multiple times. Something along the lines of "If I pass it to you, shoot it".

He has struggled with his shot this series, and didn't get a shot off tonight, but I thought he played a solid, stable, veteran game tonight. Active as a defender, kept the floor spaced, and just did those parts of his job.

Yeah, nice that he stays engaged even when his shot isn't falling. And it just goes to show you that even the best shooters go through tough stretches.

We need to figure out a way to get this man looks. I agree his defensive effort has been top notch though.

He's really struggled to knock down shots lately :\

Did he even have a single shot last night? Too lazy to look but I don't believe he did. Even if he did it wasn't more than 1 or 2. So comments about his shot not falling based off of last night don't make much sense.. last night, his gravity gave LeBron alot of space that was an important part of the reason he got it going in the 4th quarter. I admit that early in the quarter I was calling for him to be benched because he didn't seem to be doing much.. but Lue stuck with him and for good reason. He plays solid team defense and takes a man with him whereever he goes on offense. It's pick your poison with him on the court even if he doesn't get a single shot up.

I would like to see them run some action for him though.. screen his man off the ball and get him moving more, have him set picks at times for LeBron or Ky. He could be a serious x factor in the Finals. He can go supernova just as much as a few guys on 'that team'.

He didn't attempt a single shot. However, he's +144 in the playoffs when he's on the court, which is pretty remarkable considering he has only scored 76 points this post-season.

The fact that a defender must account for him at all times makes quite the difference. The fact that he also shows a willingness to play defense and rarely makes mistakes is valuable as well. His career post-season DPBM is .6, which was a bit of a surprise to me.

All this nonsense about Korver not being able to play defense once he was traded to us was stupid.

Yes, but cant they run a play or two to get this guy a look?

0 shots in 20 minutes just does NOT make sense, regardless of the way anyone spins it.

Its Korver...the guy that's used to running off screens and shooting a high % even though he has someone in his face. So I don't want to hear the "great D played on him" arguement.

This just does not make sense.

You can go through the pages and see how much I defended the Korver trade and even praised his defense

But we didn't bring him in for defense and we didn't bring him in for floor spacing. Have to make a better effort to get him shots. Korver can demoralize a team by putting up 12 points in 4-5 possessions. That's the Korver we need. That's the Korver that can give us a big lead against GSW.

It's nice that he is an active defender and a floor spacer, but James Jones is a floor spacer and not a terrible defender. We need Korver to be a marksman.
