Noone in this league can slow him down on offense without doubling. The combination of his height and shooting ability make him one of the toughest assignments in the NBA.

I agree we need another defensive wing if anything for Lebron to rest. But it's not going to solve our problems with the Warriors so easily. We need to find another all star or near all-star talent to match with them and I have no clue how we do that

He was making 9 million he probably could of got a 2 year contract for the same money somewhere else.

Korver had an excellent half season for us last year. His shot was off in the finals but Golden State is a great defense off screens .

I think Korver can definitely have a better finals.

7 million is a good number and a very tradable asset especially if the last year isn't guaranteed or is a team option.

I would have made it 2 years with second year partial, but this is decent.

The Cavaliers luxury tax bill for next season now increases from $20.4M to $42.7M with the Kyle Korver three year, $22M contract. Cleveland now has 10 players on guaranteed contracts.

Contract is very player friendly. This is probably more than hes worth to us in alternate universe where we have assets to replace him but 7 per is definitely not a bad number seeing as were most likely moving on from Shump, Frye and Williams very soon.

Korver scored 10 points per game for us at at nearly 49% from the 3 in the regular season. The production and effeciency dropped in the playoffs but that was mostly due to his poor performance in the Finals against the Warriors series. I think he can certainly improve against the Warriors. Especially with a proper pre-season training with the team, where he would get acclimated with the offense more and we would also run some sets for him, which we weren't able to much last season.

JR bounced back after his horrible finals. I have hope for Korver. Defensively he didn't seem like a problem against them to me. He just didn't make shots.

I'm still trying to figure out the Calderon move though.
