If he misses his first couple three's he needs to stop shooting for the game. If he doesn't have it that game he doesn't have it, put him on the bench. If it's one of those games he's hot then he can shoot all day.

I doesn't work like that, you don't give up on one of the best shooters in the league if he misses a couple. First 2 games together new bench crew has been superb, but KK has not yet been properly integrated on offense. On any given night he can swing the momentum of a game with a burst of threes. Cavs still need to run a few plays for him on any given night to keep him engaged and maximize his true value.

Korver is one of the best shooters in HISTORY. Not utilizing him is a crime.

So no, I don't think he should be benched if he misses a couple. But we need to find a way to make plays for him with the new roster.

I feel like Ty is playing the new guys as much as possible to gain cohesion and they are playing great so Kyle is losing some minutes ...Korver usually struggles to get shots vs teams that switch everything on defense like Boston and OKC...also unfortunately GS...he will get back to sniping after the AS break

Lets not get sentimental, a reduced role wouldn't be such a bad thing. The others have the added benefits of being able to attack closeouts, pull up from midrange, finish at the rim, handle the ball, create their own shot and not need multiple screens to get a shot off as well as having better defense. From here on out everyone earns their shots according to the needs of the team and the matchup. Teams no longer know who is going to shoot and it's beautiful and unpredictable

Everyone bar LeBron will sacrifice shots and minutes to raise the team's ceiling.

I don't think it is a big surprise the new guys haven't been able to use the complicated set of screens that get Korver open yet. Hell we didn't really properly implement that until this year. We have to have some time. The good news is that Hood can also really navigate screen well and he and Korver can run the action that Korver ran with Frye. It will be awesome with that going on while Clarkson and Nance Run Pick and Roll.

It will just take time. That bench unit is going to be virtually unguardable.

He should wear a ski mask when he cashes his game check

Seriously we can complain about the refs all we want but Korver was other worldly bad. this loss is on him

He’s showing his age all of a sudden.

I’m not saying this after 1 game but I mean we gave a soon to be 37 year old 7.5 mil a year for 3 years. I feel like a guy like Korver you can get cheaper than that.

I can live with him missing jumpers, but he killed us with brutal live ball turnovers and horrible fouls. A guy like him simply can't make those type of mistakes. He, Green and Tristan are absolutely begging to ride the bench when Love is back.

Honestly beside this bullshit 19 game win streak against scrubs , Kyle korver has been fucking horrible when we have needed him. God damn I wish we never traded for him - kyrie could still fucking be here.

I just dont see how he fits in on this team especially when he isn't hit shots.

Lue need to pull him from the second unit so we can run Hill, Clarkson, Hood, Green, and Nance as the lineup when LeBron is off the floor. Reduce down the rotation so we can form good chemistry before the playoffs.

Korver should be the odd man out. Hill, Hood, LBJ, Love, Nance needs to be the starting 5. Clarkson, Green, JR, Osman, TT (still need to play a “big”) off the bench.
