Can we assume dunleavy is in the deal because he didn't play last night?

Yay! Another old player who does nothing but shoot threes! Why do we need Korver? Super redundant.

Have you seen the floor spacing lately? You could tell LeBron was aggravated with it and adding another sharpshooter to the team is never a bad thing.

Let's hear out the details, but the lack of depth was undeniable so far this season. Something had to happen sooner than later. The Cavs were running their top 8 players into the ground.

Korver is in the final year of his contract at 5.2 million. The Cavaliers were the other high bidders when he signed on with Atlanta originally, back when the tank grinded to a halt and we got stuck with Bynum.

Going to guess one of:

Dunleavy + Osman
Dunleavy + Felder,
Dunleavy + 2020 First

If we're lucky, we also got them to take Mo Williams, in exchange for whoever their worst minimum player is, just to save some cap space.

Korver could still be a really good basketball player - he's a much much better Dunleavy.

We needed a player with the Dunleavy skillset - but Dunleavy is obviously washed up, Korver is still hitting 40% from 3PT on a relatively disfunctional Atlanta team. If he can make that 43-46% here - that would be huge.

Also, he's a net average, or even a plus defender. Dunleavy is bottom of the barrel.
