Can someone fill me in on why we should hope Cedi Osman wasn't included?

I know i am in the minority so i have kept my mouth shut, but Cedi to me seems like the type of player we way over value and comes over and does very little. I almost rather get something for him before he starts playing.

That said, Korver is older and expiring, so hopefully we didnt give up too much.
