Re: Welcome Mike Miller

Best thing about Mike is that he's more than a shooter. He's a great rebounder, has really good vision and hustles all over the court. He could also be a good mentor for Harris who could learn a lot from him. Easily a great addition to the team.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

Dude does yoga. We're all set.

EDIT: This is a really significant signing. When has any FA taken less to sign in CLE? It's all about LeBron's commitment to be here. It's something we've never gotten to enjoy before, and what was missing from the contending teams we fielded up to 2010. With LeBron's promise to be here long-term, in addition to the young talent, we're going to see a totally new level of Cavaliers teams going forward. I can't wait.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

Mike can play here until his late 30s if he could but I want Ray in here too and offer him a coaching job when he ever decides to hang it up. A shooting coach, that is.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

I like the signing. Makes me wonder what if they could have got him in 2007 when he was in his prime.

I felt the exact same way last year with the Jarrett Jack signing, except that was the reason I didn't like the Jack deal.

Love the Mike Miller signing. Helps the team on a lot of levels.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

Great signing. Welcome, Mike Miller!

Next is Ray Allen, my 8-year-old's favorite ball player in a commercial..... "Can I change my name to Ray Allen?" Of course you can.......Ray Allen."

Joking aside, I can feel Cleveland's first championship in 50 years coming. It's so close, I can taste it.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

I thought Allen went to the hoop more in the playoffs this year than in the past. If we can bring Allen in for the vet min you do it. He can still shoot but he'd also be a veteran with playoff experience. Not to mention he and Miller may be able to help the young guys with their shooting.

Let It Fly Mike!!!! Welcome to Cleveland!!!!

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

How does the rotation shape up?

PG-Irving
SG-Waiters
SF-James
PF-Thompson
C-Varejao
6th Man-Bennet
7th Man-Miller?
Wiggins, Dellavadova and maybe Ray Allen fighting for playing time?

If the season started today:

Irving/Delly
Waiters/Miller
James/Wiggins
Tristan/Bennett
Varejao

Would be our 9 man. Other roster guys like Powell, Harris, Felix wouldn't crack the rotation. Haywood might be used to foul a few guys.

Lots of small ball lineups with James at PF.

I do expect this roster to change before the season though. Obviously we still need to at least add a couple guys to fill all the roster slots.

I know it's a Heat highlight reel, my apologies.

But the fact that Miller is arguably healthier now than he was two years ago...this gets my hyped

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

IMO Wiggins, Bennett, and TT should start. Having a bench unit of Delly, Dion, Miller, and Andy looks very good to me.

Re: Welcome Mike Miller

This is one of those signings I think we'll look back on and appreciate way more at the end of the season. I love Mike Miller's shooting ability, even though he doesn't provide much more than that...another big time threat from 3, no exaggeration. That's a good thing.

Plus it seems like him and Bron are serious butt buddies.

Win win situation. Really happy about this one. Don't care if we get Ray Ray to be honest, I'd like him but Miller shot better last year and Ray is way older.

Say maybe Love isn't as done of a deal as we all thought... Maybe having Ray and Mike surrounding the perimeter with Bron, Dion, and Kyrie isn't a bad second option. Perhaps an option we'd rather go with?
