Welcome Shawn Marion #31

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am more and more excited about the addition of Marion each day. Seriously, Dion and Irving should be on cloud 9 after this off-season. Both have dealt with a dysfunctional team from the start of their careers, no solid veteran leadership, no coach that was capable of great things. They were literally inmates running the asylum. They now have the opportunity to catapult their careers and learn from some of the most savvy veterans in the league. Always have been a huge fan of Marion and Miller..

I respect players that have played in the league for a while way more than analysts opinions...the fact that Marion signed with the Cavs over signing in the city he currently lives in with the Bulls tells me he knows the Cavs are clearly better and adding his talent and versatility will only make the Cavs even more superior

Sure, but Lebron wants it all. He wants both MVPs

I think he does, but he just got schooled by the Spurs, where playing team basketball is the key. LJ will still be in the MVP hunt playing 33-36 mins a game.

So I guess what you're saying is LBJ gunning for the MVP won't be in the best interest of the team if it means him playing more minutes and being more tired come playoff time. Okay, I'm all for 36 minutes a game and nothing more, but 30 mins. a game is ridiculous. There's no reason to coast in the regular season. Get as many wins as possible because in order to get HCA throughout the playoffs, we'll probably have to hit the 62-63 mark

It's so hard to pinpoint mpg. I think the main thing we all want is the total number of mins to go down from last year. If that means playing him less mpg or giving him games off. IMO we have enough talent that we can win games a lot of games with LJ not playing heavy mins.

How the hell does his shot go in? I am still amazed at how that ugly of a shot tends to always have a chance to go in.
