You're right, the Browns need to be working on trick trick plays. That will really screw with the defense.
We don't trick. We think about tricking; we pretend to trick.

lmao that scene is hilarious. “OH THIS ROOM IS GETTING SMALLER.”

I'm still in the 'pinch me, I'm dreaming' phase.

Training camp can't come any quicker. I'm expecting records amount of fan support all year.
At this rate they'll have to have a ticket lottery like the Cavs did after Lebron came back.

So I am still iffy on the trade because we gave up so much then we have 2 expensive receivers, but Odell is a top 3 receiver, possibly the best in the game, no arguing that.

But what baffles me is all these talking heads saying 2 big personalities cant work in the same locker room. Its like these idiots never played sports, especially football.

Since they are both (Baker and Odell) are super competitive, not only will they work together in the locker room, they will feed off eachother and completely change the locker room to one that wants to win. I just find it funny, if Manning had Baker's personality, Odell wouldn't have been as pissed on the sidelines. He just wants people to want to win as much as he does, especially his qb,

But this quote is exactly what I mean how they will feed off each other, not hate on each other, so silly.

I've got no worries about the personalities...at least as long as we're winning.

I'm never one who rates the WR position as that important. But OBJ's talent is special, and his contract is actually really reasonable for an elite talent since we don't have to pay any of his signing bonus.

Once we're actually paying premium players premium money (Baker, Ward, Garrett) then we'll obviously have to change our salary structure. But, by then Jarvis won't be on his deal.

I just hate the loss of picks and the amount we have tied up in WR, I don't think Odell is over paid by any means though.

The way a good team stays good is drafting and extra picks. Look at New England, But then again, trades is the 2nd way, and our 2 biggest splashes came via trade, not free agency which is by far the worst way to add talent. Only one splash free agent, all the others were depth.

I just hated giving up a 1st, but we will see if it was the right move, our WR are elite now, especially if we bring back Higgins as our 4th WR. He is as good as many teams 2nd best WR.

I don't really think the money tied up at WR is an issue simply because we have so little tied up at all the other offensive positions. We've also got an elite DE and CB locked up on cheap rookie deals for several more years.

Honestly, losing Peppers is what hurts to me. I think he's special.

If used right, I agree. He wasn't completely used right, but that could of changed with the new d-coordinator.

Yup. I've said since his college days that he's the best safety prospect I've seen at attacking the horizontal game. If you had a DC who would play him close to the line to do the following in order:
  1. Attack horizontally. Screens, sweeps, tosses, etc. Blow them up if they're on your half of the field.
  2. Blitz the QB
  3. Drop into coverage
He'd be incredible. Unfortunately, Gregg Williams is a shit DC. Thank god we didn't give into the fans who wanted to keep him around because the team won a few games--having nothing to say about his ability as a coach or a coordinator. Thanks for the refreshing cleanse after Hue, but holy shit am I glad he's gone.

And you pair that with a single-high free safety (like Malik Hooker, who was the best single high safety prospect I've seen) it would've given the team an identity.

I'm glad Watson got hurt and our Texans first rounder turned into the #4 overall pick, but that was the draft I wanted Hooker and Peppers to give this team an identity in the secondary.
