What are they spraying in the sky?

This isn't a conspiracy theory, this stuff is really happening. If you look up every once in while then you are bound to see them. Why are they being put there?

For those that believe in this conspiracy theory (not MalTalm), why do you believe an entity would spray the sky with chemicals that would be harmful to all who came in contact with it? What's the entity that's doing it? Curious as to what you feel the motive would be.

I did not do any research, nor have I seen unusual contrails, and have not watched the youtube videos... but IF there is a chemical being sprayed in the atmosphere... what is the purpose? What is it supposed to be doing? I've got to think the US govt is not trying to poison the whole US population, so even if this is an unintended side-effect... what is the main purpose for doing this? What is the theory from those that feel there is truth to this?

Anyone else think its a little strange that the East Coast just had a historic storm with Superstorm Sandy aka Frankenstorm Sandy and now they are predicting this huge blizzard to hit the New England area? Seems odd to me.

He isn't saying they are spraying anything. He is saying the reason people are measuring higher barium levels on the ground has to due with a higher production of barium on the ground and not due barium being released in the air.

Just because I find an increase of copper minerals in water doesn't mean they are spraying copper in the air.

No. I was asking Malt to clarify because I wasn't sure why he said what he said and was curious. I get the sense he does not believe in this theory, so I was indeed asking the guys who do believe in it.

I didn't really change much of anything. I re clarified for accuracy. The same altitude can have different dew points depending on variations in the atmosphere. For instance, fog is actually clouds forming at ground level.

The point being, that vapor trails form, but the speed at which they dissipate is based on a few things. Mostly the local pressure/temperature/humidity, which is subject to change locally (microscopically). However there is a definite relation of these quantities based on altitude.


Edit: Let me point out that I am not a meteorologist. I am an aerospace engineer. While I do understand how things behave in microscopic regimes (i.e. a jet engine and it's exhaust)... my understanding of meteorological terms is a little more basic than my understanding of aerodynamics. Trying to explain how things physically behave, I have to resort to meteorological terms as that is what people are more familiar with. Entropy diagrams, P-T-V diagarams.... people don't understand those as much.
