Then you bring up evidence that sleep deprivation can make someone go literally insane, it is why militaries use it as a form of torture, and say if not for the actions of the complex not fulfilling their contractual obligation, you would not be deprived of sleep, thus you would not have gone temporarily insane and you would not have broken down the door.

Cause and effect argument, if not for the blatant disregard of the complex, the door would not be broken.

I'm probably gonna move into their place. I think Their lease is up netx month and they even offered to switch w me. I'm a little worried about that though because there's a chance I'll still be able to hear enough to not sleep. The walls are really thin.

Just have them take over your lease and be done with them and the building. Find another place to live.

I had a roommate that snored like crazy in college. I couldn't sleep. I had already switch roommate in my frat house cause my first roommate and I didn't get along. Alot of other drama happen and there was no solution in the house. I just crashed on my best friends couch for the semester so I wouldn't fail out. The funny thing is my roommate who snored and the one I didn't get along with both fail out of school. I got my own room the next semester.

If I were you I'd see if they will take over your lease when theirs ends. Just crash at someones house for a month if you can. Or see if you can airbnb your place to sign a lease somewhere else.

This isn't so much a solution to the noise, but have you considered wearing ear plugs at night so you can at least get some sleep. Some will knock off around 30 decibels of noise. If you buy them on Amazon, they are not too expensive for sets of 50 to 200 pairs.

I had to wear them myself in order to help me get some sleep. A bit uncomfortable at first, but I got used to them. They helped more than I thought they would.
