What Happened to Lorenzen Wright? (ongoing investigation)

Lorenzen Wright, a former Memphis Tiger and Memphis Grizzlies player, is missing.

The family of Lorenzen Wright says he's been missing since Sunday.

Wright's sister, Savia Archie, says her family is very concerned.

Archie said, Wright was last seen on sunday when he was expected to fly out of Memphis, but no one has heard from him since.

The family has filed a missing persons with the Collierville police department.

Wright, who will turn 35 in November, became a fan favorite back in high school when he played at Booker T. Washington, then the University of Memphis and later the Grizzlies.

Wright most recently played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That's really sad,after hearing what happenned with Stepehen Jackson i hope the guys okay.

(Not sure if this is exactly Cavs talk,but it's a guy who played with us 2 years ago,we technically still have his rights? )

Where was he flying to? Did they check there? I'm sure they did, but sometimes it's all just a misunderstanding by all parties involved.

Some more details:

Former University of Memphis and Memphis Grizzlies basketball player Lorenzen Wright has been reported missing to Collierville police.

Wright has not been seen by his family since Sunday, said Collierville spokesman Mark Heuberger. His disappearance was reported by his family on Thursday.

Investigators have not found any indications of foul play in the past 24 hours, Heuberger said.

Wright, a Memphis native, had his home foreclosed in May. The former No. 7 overall pick in the 1996 draft out of Memphis most recently played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Sad situation. I hope things turn out okay.

Friend of mine who works for the Cavs said Lorenzen is probably the funniest guy he has been around during his time with the team.

Hopefully he is alright.
