Another important thing to consider MoFlo is that Andy developed great chemistry with both LeBron and Kyrie separately. Andy gets us bread and butter looks around the rim, that happens multiple times every single game. James used to spoon feed AV around the hoop constantly, and he'd finish softly on the other side of the board.

Andy is getting spoonfed though, because he knows precisely when to cut! History will remember Varejao for being a tenacious rebounder, hustle big etc, but what Andy does best is cut to the basket at precisely the right time. LBJ and Kyrie know exactly when to hit him in stride.

If we have Andy we're winning the title. There, I said it.

Really not sure how Windy came to the conclusion that Andy isn't a good offensive player..

I'm starting to wonder if Windy has watched the Cavs in the past four years. He's very quick to be negative about everything regarding the team, but completely ignores the (admittedly few) positive things like Varejao's development.

He just did his first show. Anyone catch it?

Well, with Dion, his issue is a lack of full court vision/awareness... I'm not sure he cares, either.

When you've got LBJ, Kyrie and Love passing around the perimeter looking for a good shot, you definitely don't want Dion to be the guy taking a guarded shot.. I saw that a few times on Wednesday. Thing is, he's got that "dog" in him that says to take the shot. It just isn't going to go over well on this team, where he's the 4th option..

To be fair, if you blinked you might have missed Andy's development considering his time on the IR.

Brian Windhorst is trash.

He's wrong. Consistently. The mods defend him, but he's garbage based on what I've seen for the last 6+ months.

Don't give his show any airtime, make the man get a real job outside of riding Lebron's coattails and stirring up drama.

Absolutely no respect for him anymore. I tried to hang on.

I still respect Windy as a journalist, because when he's plugged into the beat he is one of the best out there.

However, his speculation regarding the Cavs organization since leaving has been pretty awful, and he seems to only speculate on the Cavs, as opposed to sourced reports, since Grant has left.

Breaking trade rumors? I'll listen. Speculation on Cavs locker room/front office/inner relationships? I'll take it with a massive grain of salt.

When was the last time he broke something that proved to be concrete.

I'll wait.

Loads of things. He was the one to break the story of Kyrie being in a walking boot, Kyrie's dad hating Mike Brown, etc...

Yep, his story on the walking boot, which coincidentally Mr Irving was no longer wearing just hours after his report, that he followed up by trying to spin that into a bigger issue then it was. That includes "Doctor" Windhorst showing that he really doesn't have a medical degree, and should probably not prognosticate his own opinion on injuries. He expected Kyrie to be out weeks when it turned out that he played the next night. Which, of course, matched exactly what Cavs management was saying when they said it was a day to day thing.

There was really no point in Windy making the comment about "if LeBron wanted Blatt fired....." because it's an unspoken obvious dynamic that LeBron James is the most powerful player in the NBA. So yes, if he wanted to exert his power that way, he could. But it's so beyond unlikely that such a scenario would unfold that it just seems needlessly sensationalist for Windy to even bring it up. I didn't hear the show but I'm assuming he was being "off the cuff" and not presenting that as an actual dynamic to watch for this season. I don't think this was a case or Windy trying to intentionally stir up trouble or aggravate the Cavs fan base, but probably more him just needlessly stating something to have something to say on his show.

As for the Dion off the bench stuff, I prefer him starting but it doesn't offend me to have that brought up again. I feel good about whatever Blatt decides. I don't think Miller is a realistic option to start though, so unless we make a trade for a SG soon, I don't see it as a realistic possibility to have Dion off the bench right now.

The broader topic was LBJ/Blatt relationships and if I am not mistaken he chose to start the topic with that comment, which I agree with you is unnecessary.

I guess some folks will now rate all my posts as dumb because I'm not A Dion Waiters fan lol
