Has anybody seen a replay of the penalty at the end of the Greece-Ivory Coast game? In real time, I though the Ivory Coast player didn't touch him.

It was close. I wouldn't call it a penalty but there's an argument to made for it I suppose. The defender essentially had his toe make contact. No offense to any Greeks out there but I'm not looking forward to more games from them. Just can't get into their brand of soccer.

Suarez really loses his mind when he's out there. Those reflex instincts help him as a player but hurt him as a rational, decision-making human being.

Best angle I have seen. It is a penalty in my opinion. If he sticks his leg into play like that he has to win the ball and in the end was no where close to the ball.

After seeing that angle it's much more clear. Indeed a penalty.

One was already sidelined with 2 yellows, but infighting can't be good for their squad.

I was seriously concerned that Portugal, coming from a hotter climate, less rest and overall looking like ass, would get throttled vs Ghana, perhaps going through over the US on GD. Less likely now.

Knockout game will be Tuesday at 5. Almost assuredly vs Belgium, but slight chance could be vs Algeria.

USA survived the group of death despite Bradley playing like crap and Altidore playing for a total of 20 minutes.

Honestly think this team is better without Altidore. He does nothing but disappoint when he plays.

Bradley has played like ass this entire tournament.

Bradley still doing terrible. I think the pressure is getting to him. Also, think Klinnsman may be asking too much of him. He's more of a defensive midfielder, I think he'd be more comfortable in Beckerman's role.

Honestly think this team is better without Altidore. He does nothing but disappoint when he plays.

We need somebody else to push forward and take some pressure off Dempsey. He has value as a decoy alone.
