Fastlane Tonight - in Cleveland!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

I'm selling myself on Husky Harris as Bray Wyatt, who is absolutely wonderful considering the fact he's writing his own promos.

Brock can't wrestle for shit, and that's basically proven. He's stiff, he's difficult to work with. Worried about Taker's health, though.

Swagger is actually really good. His lisp is horrible.

Ziggler is odd. There's a reason he can't stay over, and I have no clue why.

Swagger may be good in the ring, but he has zero charisma, and yeah.. that lisp.

Not including the 30 man Royal Rumble match... Ziggler hasn't had a spot on the main card of a PPV since Night of Champions in September. That's 6 consecutive PPVs he hasn't had a match. The Great Khali, Los Matadores, Fandango, Santino Marella, R-Truth, Brodus Clay, and Darren Young have all had PPV matches since Ziggler. While I agree it's criminal that it's come to that, from what I've read the guy has only himself to blame for alot of it. He was overly candid and bashed the company in interviews around Summerslam time, which was basically when he was last relevant. On episodes of Raw he isn't featured on.. he usually takes to Twitter and offers his comedic opinions on wrestlers/segments. Probably something that is frowned upon as well by the higher ups. He's one of my personal favorites, but at this point I fully expect him to be nothing more than a glorified jobber who's role is to make others look strong going into Wrestlemania.

His attempted comedic opinions, because he's not actually funny.

If we're talking about charisma, Cesaro has considerably less mic talent than Swagger, which is saying something because both were tied to Dirty Dutch for a reason. That match is going to be absolutely wonderful, and I'm expecting a 60 turn big swing.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Ziggler needs a character makeover. A complete cleanse. The homeless man's Shawn Michaels routine has run its course.

Cesaro could go any number of directions, but his in-ring work is spectacular. I was disappointed they went away from the anti-american foreigner routine because he was genuinely great at heel stuff.

If they really plan to go into the biggest event of the year with Orton/Bautista (dud of a match, played out) and Lesnar/Taker (how many more big bumps can the Taker take?), that's not good enough.

The Shield/Wyatts will be a bright spot, and I think a Bray/Cena feud could be gold, even past Mania, but I've said it already on this thread... the WWE NEEDS CM Punk for WM30. Just pay the man and put him in the main event. Or have him go heel again (join the authority?) and face Bryan. Something.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

If Punk came out at the END of WM30... Holy balls.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Can we talk about any dirtsheet rumors and/or things that haven't happened yet in the Spoiler thread?

I know not everyone cares about being spoiled about things, but in case someone doesn't want to see anything ahead of time.

Thanks

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Bray Wyatt is great on the mic. Even with all the CM Punk chants, the roster seems pretty composed. Must be leading to something good.

That Bryan interview was painful and awesome at the same time. They could barely hear themselves think or remember their lines. Props to Chicago.

And Bray Wyatt is phenomenal, no question. Buckle up for a fun John Cena torture gauntlet for the next month or so.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Brays character is larger than life. Guys like him my wrestling worth watching. There is too many bland guys on the roster. Need to make room for more characters.

Seriously. This is why people saying wrestling is fake makes no difference. Yes it's fake, but it's also acting and live stunts. Need more good mic guys.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

WWE did a really good job of trolling Chicago tonight, starting the show off with the Punk entrance really put the crowd through a loop. With all the talk, I didn't think they lived up to the hype. They got some decent "CM Punk" chants going for a short amount of time.

Also, Wyatt is great on the mic. But I'm going to give Cena some credit, the guy shows why he is the top of the company by the way he handles the crowds. That hostile of an environment and by the end of his promo he has most of the fans not knowing what to chant. I was impressed.

Please he's really slow in the ring and his gimmick is awful. I didn't realize he was writing that garbage himself, no wonder why it's awful. The whole Wyatt family kind of reminds me of the Brood mixed with Raven's flock except worse. I'd rather never see Husky Harris again. Personal opinion of course.

I know you're just trying to drive wrestling debate on here as per usual... but I'll bite anyway. Arent you the guy who watches the C-list crap (TNA, etc) where most guys look and sound like 8 yr old kids at a school play? And you're taking shots at Bray Wyatt?

To each his own, man.

Of course I'm taking shots at Bray Wyatt. Just like I take shots at Cena and anyone else I don't like. I'm a wrestling fan, probably more then most on here. That's why I watch WWE and TNA. I would watch ROH, but it isn't available in this area on TV.

Clearly you haven't watched recently. TNA's ratings have been increasing and yes they do have issues of their own... plenty of them. At least they gave a guy like Christian a big push and that's been the best work of his career. They're in the middle of a reboot and their product is starting to look better.

You might hate TNA, but it's number one in the UK and Germany. They are becoming more and more global with a partnership with Wrestle-1 (Muta's company) and AAA.

Sure, it's not the global icon WWE is, but they've only been in business for 12 years. The company that everyone doomed to fail after one night.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

I like Bray Wyatt and the family. I think it's a pretty cool gimmick. I love the stuff they've done with the Shield.

Not to start a TNA debate, but I used to enjoy their product, but lost interest when they started to become like every other wrestling promotion. I enjoyed them when they gave us something that WWE didn't with the X division, the 6-sided ring, great in-ring action etc. But now it seems that TNA is just a little brother promotion with nothing special going on. They diminished the X Division, lost the 6-sided ring, and now that WWE has been scouring the independents, you can see the matches in the WWE that are just as good, if not better than TNA.

They should have stayed the course with being a new brand of wrestling instead of trying to beat WWE at their own game.

I love the shield as wrestlers and even their gimmick. The Wyatt's and Sheild's shtick are sort of similar. They get in the ring and take on a guy 3 on 1.

As far as TNA D-Wreck that was because of Hogan/Bischoff who are no longer dealing with the company. The x-division isn't back to where it used to be, but they just added Tigre Uno.
