WWE/TNA/Etc Spoiler Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
EC will most likely top Payback and Extreme Rules, even on a 2 week build.

Also some worthy news, Sunny signed up with Vivid to do some hardcore action, much like Chyna, one of the main reasons why she isn't a HoF'er, but Sunny is and I'm curious how WWE voids her.

Oh and Sunny looks nothing like she was, resembles a fat trailer park, cigarette smoking, drunken skank who needs a payday.

So, that's that... Rusev is competing in the IC Title Elimination Chamber match along with Ryback, Sheamus, Ziggler, Barrett, and (for some reason) R Truth.

And Cena is going up against current NXT Champion Kevin Owens. Wow. I'm all of a sudden very much looking forward to Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank.

So I guess that means Owens is losing the NXT title on Wednesday. It would be really cool if Owens beats Cena and then his feud with Zayne carries over into the WWE. Or a feud between him and Neville. That match they had a couple months back on NXT was incredible.

But yeah, Elimination Chamber looks pretty great so far. It's kind of weird that Ambrose is getting a push seemingly out of nowhere (not complaining...it's just strange). He was relegated to the mid-card until like a week and a half ago, and now he's going into his second title fight in two weeks. If they're going to have Rollins win, I hope he wins clean for once. I get that he's a heel, but you still have to let heels win clean from time to time if you want them to look legitimate. Has Rollins won a single big match clean since he joined the Authority?

Side note: What a shitty way for the Cena/Rusev feud to end. The STF is literally the worst submission hold I've ever seen, and ending a major feud like that with it is a fucking joke.

Damn, Sunny was such a babe back in the day too. I know she's been arrested a few times and had some substance abuse issues that WWE has stood by and tried to help her with. Sad to see her life go in the shitter like that.

I agree that it was a shitty way to end the Rusev-Cena feud, but as mentioned in a previous post... WWE really just booked themselves into a corner with it. God forbid Cena ever take a clean loss, and Rusev was never going to beat him clean because Cena "cant" submit. WWE wants to keep Rusev looking strong so he lost all 3 of the matches with Cena due to some kind of stipulation or Lana interference backfiring.. hence why he "fired" her.

It's why I have a love/hate with Cena feuding with the up and comers like Ryback, Wyatt, Rusev, etc. On one hand it gives the rookie some rub by facing the face of the company. On the other hand... the inevitable result is a Cena burial (Ryback, Wyatt) or a gigantic waste of 4 months (Rusev).

It's so stupid that Cena can't lose clean. Just let someone fucking beat him.

Hopefully they give Kevin Owens the belt at Elimination Chamber. Although the obvious downside to that is WWE thrusting Cena back into a main even scene where he's desperately not needed right now.

Watching Raw playback, what's with Paige always yelling "This is my house"? She was in the ring all of 45 seconds and yelled it 3 times, pretty much loses it's impact when you keep screaming it over and over.

Lol she even went to twitter saying it.

I think they realized they need a smaller face since losing Bryan. Not that he's a small guy, but I think he's the best option right now.

There were rumors of a "top superstar" going to bat for Ambrose & telling management they were using him wrong. Supposedly, Ambrose wasn't complaining, but definitely seems like the top superstar that went to bat for him helped the push.

As far as Cena/Owens, I don't believe it's for the U.S Title, so we could conceivably see an upset there.

Happened last night. I lost it when I rewatched NXT.

I have the Network specifically for NXT. Anything else is a bonus. No need to watch Raw or SD. Even when these guys get called up, there creative is the wrestling equivalent to the Cleveland Indians.

Owens
Joe
Balor
Itami
Uhaa Nation (Fuck yea!!)
Brezze
Banks
Flair
Zayn

The list goes on and on. I wish NXT was on a major network, and was a stand alone brand with pay that actually reflects the work these guys put in. Its a shame theyll go up to Raw/SD and get lost in the shuffle.

I mean, the World title belt is held by a former NXT guy, and the most recent PPV featured three former NXT guys in the main event, and Neville was featured in a match right before the main event. Yeah, some guys get lost in the shuffle, but that's inevitable. The WWE is definitely going to fuck some things up, but they've done a pretty good job of developing some of their former NXT guys into legitimate main eventers.

Plus, didn't Triple H basically create NXT as it exists today? It seems like he's got a lot of incentive for the guys developed there to be successful on the main roster.

Agree with this. WWE booking is farrrrrrr from perfect, but statistically speaking it only makes sense... Not everyone can make it. Rollins, Reigns, Ambrose, Wyatt, Harper, Rowan, Rusev, Neville, Paige have been the main focal points on TV for awhile now while a lot of top guys from recent years have fallen down the card in favor of them. Only makes sense that for every one of them there's an Adam Rose, Fandango, The Ascension, Xavier Woods, Emma. It's like the NFL or NBA draft... There are going to be stars, role players, and busts.

Haven't watched wrestling since Samoa Joe was wrestling Bryan Danielson in Ring of Honor on bootleg DVDs. They both are in the WWE now and they changed his name to Daniel Bryan?

What's NXT? Is that where the guys who can actually wrestle but aren't liked by 12 year olds practice to get beat by Cena?

I was thinking of watching a PPV because I used to like this stuff as a kid and was curious but I think reading this thread scratched that itch when I saw Cena is still invincible after all these years.

NXT is just WWE's developmental program. They air an actual show ever Wednesday night that has about half a dozen matches and a couple of story segments. I don't watch Raw, but I do actually watch NXT. A lot of the guys on there are really good. Hell, the current WWE champion is a former NXT champion.

Cena is definitely still invincible (unless he's fighting Lesnar, I guess), but they've at least had the good sense to pull him out of the main event and make him the United States champion. He's still as bland and insufferable as ever, but now he's doing it on the midcard so it's not quite as obnoxious. He's actually fighting the current NXT champion (Kevin Owens) next week at the Elimination Chamber PPV.

To Cena's credit, his open challenges on Raw have regularly been the match of the night. Love what they're doing with that belt right now.

By the way guys, if you're just discussing things that have happened or upcoming PPVs (without spoilers), feel free to use the regular WWE thread. Spoilers definitely go here though.

My issue isn't with Cena himself. He can wrestle when he gets paired up with someone good. It's just that WWE refuses to ever let him lose legitimately. I also hate that they keep sticking with the same gimmick for Cena even though people have clearly turned against him. Cena is really the only guy I can think of who has literally never been a heel. Everyone else who has been in WWE as long as Cena has had to spend time as a heel. It's just sad that Cena is so immune. He might actually become interesting if they make him a bad guy. But he's just so fucking boring as a good guy.
