I'm looking to upgrade to one of these consoles. I play Madden, 2k, and the occasional RPG. But id like to have access to the Mario games for my 9 year old daughter who likes the Mario series, mostly Mariokart. I've got a 360 now, but she has to play on her WII on standard definition.

Is there one that is better for my situation? Thanks in advance.

Well, the Wii U is the only way to play the Mario games and other Nintendo titles in HD. But they aren't even making Madden or NBA2K games for it, so either you have to get two systems or choose what is more important. They are still making Madden and 2K for the 360, though who knows for how much longer. So there's that.

Can't wait for this to drop already

Yes. I didn't get to play left behind, so I am looking very to that. Also be nice to turn on my ps4... no games and all that. I just bought the spiderman game less than two hours ago, I regret it already.

Yep. Didn't have a PS3 so this will be my first playthrough. Pretty pumped.

Same here.

Really excited for the story. Only concern is everything I've seen from the multiplayer just doesn't seem like it's something that can keep me engaged if I'm being honest. Games with a good multiplayer element usually give me the most playable span of time.

She's 9. She doesn't need high definition. :chuckles:

There ya go, nipped that one right in the bud.

Even if you don't enjoy the multiplayer, the story is incredible. I'ma actually kind of jealous that you're getting to experience it for the first time. But getting back to the multiplayer, if there are enough people, it's really fun. Think Gears of War. It's a fast paced 4 v 4 with the on the fly building system. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but if there are enough players online, you should enjoy it.

wow the game is 50GB..looks like im gonna buy the physical copy and not wait an entire day to download it lol

Whatever happened to Day-Z? Did that ever get fixed or is it still Beta / broken?

I bought spiderman because it was on sale. 35 bucks isn't bad, but damn I wish I would have had the fortitude to hold off. The controls are janky, and the story sucks so far. On the plus side it only took 20 minutes to download.

In my opinion that game is in trouble unless something happens very quickly. If they are unable to produce a quality stable build their audience will begin moving to other games. Dean Hall who created the mod and standalone is leaving Bohemia. Recently they have had trouble with hackers but it appears to have been fixed.
