With every game Boston wins, I keep rewinding back to the WWE style ceremony after Miami formed this team... "not 1... not 2... not 3..."

... and then I picture this Celtics team watching the whole thing in disgust. Talk about motivation.

Best video of 2012.

Pietrus, you magnificient wizard.

Rondo, the only player in the league (listen closely triumph) who can have a shooting game like that AND STILL DOMINATE THE GAME. Man should have had 20 assists but Boston couldn't make a lay-up (or dunk) to save their lives. How you can watch that game and come away with the observations you've made tonight can only make me think one thing...you aren't actually watching the game. Rondo was fantastic. And yet again the +/- backs me up. He played fantastic defense the entire night and was the sole reason Garnett ever got going.

And is Brandon Bass the worst rebounder in the history of basketball, or only one of the worst?

I'm going to keep with tradition this series and not start watching game 6 until the middle of the 2nd quarter.

This seems appropriate:

One thing for sure is Boston needs to end the series on Thursday. They have trouble closing out and need to not allow Miami to build up their confidence with a victory on their home court.

Next year Boston cannot win unless they upgrade their age. This year they will struggle against OKC. So you have nothing to worry about. As far as I can see there is only one team I want to see lose.

I'd feel much more comfortable about their chances of losing in the finals if it was the Spurs they would play, but that ship looks sailed imo. So now I just have to hope Pierce gets carried into the locker room without the wheelchair comeback. Or maybe KG could just re-injure that knee that plagued him a couple seasons ago. Hell if Ray Allen reinjures his ankle i'll be happy. Honestly at this point i'll take a replay of Wade trying to break Rondo's arm last year in game 6/7 if the Celts are going to win.

In game 7 (if there is one :fingerx:) if Miami is going to win i'd like to see "vintage" KG and have him elbow Wade in the face and then run away because Wade might just hit him back. God knows he won't try anything with LeBron, LeBron is only 4 inches shorter than him, aka too close to the same size.

Does LBJ even want to play basketball? He just looks completely different to me. Can't believe we thought this guy was going to bring us the ship.

I will crack a bottle open like the '72 Dolphins if the Celtics win this series.

Couple thoughts after this one:

1. James needs to play the game of his life in Game 6. It's not about his team, Wade, Spoelstra, or anything else. He needs to put the team on his back and win the game. His legacy is very much on the line.

2. Not sure that the Heat's talent can win when going up against Boston's will to win.

3. I'm guessing Bosh will start and play a ton in Game 6. They basically can't afford to sit him.
