Game 2 -|- Bulls @ Cavs -|- Friday, November 2nd, 7:30PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This team needs a defensive oriented coach. I hope that if Mike Brown gets the ax at LA we acquire him to be our defensive coach to fix our atrocious defense. I want my young team tough on the defensive side of the ball.

I'd rather take Mike Brown as the head coach again. Period. Made the wrong move getting rid of him.

If every team in the NBA played defense like Chicago, the NBA would have to change the rules. Grabbing, hip checking, hand checking...they totally took advantage of this rookie officiating crew. Monty McCutcheon was the only respected official out there tonight...that chick was so out of her league. Kirk Heinrich should have fouled out in the first 6 minutes the way he kept hip checking Kyrie every time he accelerated by him.

That being said, the Cavs were woeful tonight. You attack pressure with aggressive play. Nobody was capable of just breaking their man down and getting into the paint. Kyrie had some success in the third quarter but only when Heinrich was on the bench. CJ Miles didn't play well, but he was the only other guy on the court who actually looked capable against the pressure. Just shockingly bad...

I was considering getting the NBA gameplan package...I'm glad I waited to see this game. Just terrible.

Why not get our young starting group more time playing together? They need to learn.

My man, maybe I'm wrong, but it would seem to me you were all in favor of getting rid of him. You go into panic mode so fast.

Also, please god no. Never want that man coaching my team's offense again.

Our defensive rotations is just shitty. Even in the Washington game. The wiz just shot poorly but most of their looks are open. If we are trying to be the Phoenix Suns and try to just outscore everybody this rebuild will fail.

Imagine what this team would become without AV? He's our only legit big man.

The upside in acquiring a first rounder is enticing, but you give up Andy, you're setting this team back multiple years. He's that important. Even Kyrie looked completely overwhelmed against the likes of Kirk Heinrich tonight. It's really a catch 22.

No, that was Manny Acta.

I'll get this monkey off my back and say that we could have tried to build with MB and his coaching staff with Ferry given all the picks he hoped for. I blame this on LeQueen for keeping is in the dark.

I really don't know what everyone was expecting. We always play poorly against the bulls, and they have a lot more talent than we do now. I wonder if there was this much hand-wringing last year when the raptors killed us early in the season.

I try not to overreact to these things. It's two games into the season. I can look around the league and see how people are blowing things out of proportion everywhere. Lakers are awful, James Harden is the greatest ever, etc.

But man, I can't help but feel that CJ Miles is just a totally worthless as a player. I hope he turns it around, but I fear he just sucks and will continue to suck.

Shipping out Andy doesn't set back the team. It A) increases playing time for players that will be here when we are contenders, B) increases our asset base, and C) improves our draft position this year. Yes we would likely not be as good next year without Andy as we would be with him, but in the following years it would be nothing but beneficial.

I think it has more to do with the absolute talent gap and play. It's one thing to be young and struggle against a solid defensive team, it's another to look like you don't even belong in the same league. An outsider would have assumed the Cavs were some lower level Euro team. It was also shocking to see Kyrie struggle so much with Kirk Heinrich. Tristan be completely outclassed by Carlos Boozer, Zeller not even be able to stay on the court, Dion was so-so but settled way too much for deep jump-shots.

I don't know...it was Andy and everyone else just looked so overwhelmed and out of place it was really disappointing.

Did you see what was on the court tonight outside of Andy? When do you expect we'd be able to replace his production? He's our only finisher, rebounder, and rim protector.

Again, the pick would be great, but giving away Andy is really giving up a lot in terms of this teams development. You give away Andy, and we're an atrocious squad. I don't know...I guess my expectations were that this team could be somewhat competitive in games. Without Andy, we lose by 45 tonight. I can't even imagine starting Zeller at this point after what I've witnessed in the first 2 games.

Just rough...

Last season in January we lost to the bulls at home 114-75. I think you could make a case that perhaps in some respects last years team was better or at least much less raw than this years team since our team is so young and we lost quite a few veterans.
