Game #40 | Cavaliers @ Kings | Monday Jan. 14, 2013 | 10:00 pm ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They won't have to keep shooting like that. Just like last night, we don't have a soul on the roster with a prayer of guarding Cousins. Unless he takes dumb shots (which he might) or gets in foul trouble, he'll dominate the second half against either the Power Forward guarding him or the big softy.

Kyrie is not giving a shit.

If I'm Kyrie Irving, I'm in Chris Grant's office the day after the road trip is over and I tell him to his face "You either bring in talent this coming off-season or I WALK after my rookie contract is up." This team is an embarrassment.

Isn't there at least one NBDL center we can call up to man the C spot till Varejao comes back: I'm getting sick of Thompson being the only big capable of doing anything.

And if I'm Chris Grant I tell him to go for it and turn down the extra 10 million or so (in one season, mind you) he'd make by not taking a qualifying offer when he's an RFA.

I'm pretty sure Kyrie knows the tank plan and that this isn't the offseason they will bring in talent besides the draft.

Giving up 69 points to the Kings in the first half. That is pathetic.

Meanwhile, the Hawks managed to score 58 points tonight against Chicago... that's 58 points for the ENTIRE GAME!

It would be fun/funny to see what Thibodeau would do with this team.
One bad thing about the tank is that I don't know whether to criticize Scott or love the shit he pulls

The other thing is I can't figure out if he's a really bad coach or not. It's like, when the option off the bench is to play either Luke Walton or Kevin Jones at the CENTER POSITION, I don't know what you're supposed to do with that.

If I'm Kyrie, I say "Done. I came to this league to WIN, not to be embarrassed night after night because my team's GM won't supply his team with adequate players. I'm sure there are lots of teams who would love to have my services at their disposal. And if you won't explain to Cavs fans why I'm leaving, I'll be more than happy to."

No you wouldn't. You wouldn't look at a season in which you can make 14 million that year and instead decide to make 4.

Cratylus is on point. For some reason, a lot of you want to wait till 2014 to go all in for LeBron. Fuck that shit. This upcoming free agent class is nice, it's time to strike. Next year we damn well better be in the playoffs.

Great footwork and patience from TT on that post move.
