Mareese Speights has played maybe the best defensive and tactical quarter of his entire career tonight. Not enough can be said about a change of scenery sometimes. Keep an eye on him. He could end up being a super important part of that trade when it's all said and done. Guy has real, discernible, NBA skills and size. He's always had the talent, much like J.J., but I don't EVER remember J.J. playing a 10 minute stretch as well defensively as Speights just has. The best J.J. ever offered was some blocked shot streaks.

I hope we bring in ALL the starters now. Dont get me wrong, the bench did good but their job is done now.
 
Think about this...we're finishing a game (besides Irving) with 2 guys we just got in a trade, a guy we picked up midseason, and Luke Walton. Kudos to Scott, and kudos to Grant. The pieces are coming into place, and we've only got loads more coming.
