you also have multiple chances to fail. and then you're down two scores. since 2-pt conversions don't have a great percentage, i like when teams wait until they absolutely they have to (4th quarter, can tie up the game). sure they are still down by 2 pts now, but could have been more demoralizing even earlier.

incredible that 49ers are still in it if they can play decent defense (and probably even if they can't...).

I am going to guess QB draw was the original call and they had audible out. Kaepernick and Moss obviously weren't on the same page.
 
So I tuned in and noticed "the ladies man" was the main referee.

Pass interference needs to be abolished. It's just good football.
 
Ed Reed's blitz blew up the play. I don't think we know what they were trying to do because he was in there so fast.
 
No coach on any level thinks like Triumph36 on 2 point attempts. None.

yeah, they waited until they had to and look what happened - it was a horribly run play.

going for it on the first td gives them multiple attempts even if they miss the 1st. instead they waited until they had one shot.

If they miss, then they have to get 2 of them in a row.

Ironically, if SF scores, they'll have to go for 2 again. Had they only kicked XPs, they'd be up 3.

Which is why you don't go chasing pts early.
