as a cavs fan and a guy that bet $300 on over 215.5....why in the fuck do you call timeout down 10 with 48 seconds left then got for a 2 and tehn not even foul?....wtf are yu doing Byron...you waste 20 seconds and then cost me $300 in teh fucking process....why even call timeout....not sure I've seen too many NBA teams quit down 8 with almost 40 seconds left before

Man, that's gonna leave a mark.
On your wallet.

denver's a great regular season team, no question, the depth is unparalleled. just cant see them making much noise in the playoffs, who's their go to guy? i like their team a lot, but its not championship caliber, a guy like gasol would be great for them....obviously that is not going to happen now.

Speights did not have a good audition either...

Well, he'll now have the benefit of working with an NBA training staff all summer who can tell him exactly what they think he needs to do.

I thank you, I didn't need to point out the obvious.

No, and I've been worried about Speights the last couple of games. It's just the shots were going in or he was getting fouled. But man, he gets the ball and he's a black hole. Trying to do much.

I'll have the next thread up, oh, tomorrow evening.

The more I watch the more I want Noel. This team wouldnt scare a JV team from attacking the rim.

I disagree with Scott sitting Dion. Rookies are going to struggle, it's part of their growth. I would rather see Dion in the game trying to figure these things out than sitting on the bench and watching.

Eat and lift weights??

Really, it isn't rocket science. If your going to be a professional athlete, you should be able to do this in college. He went to a school with world class facilities I am sure.

He is just not a good player, period.

Zeller was terrible, we definitely need an enforcer down low. Javale McGee affected nearly every shot in the paint which is something the Cavs desperately need. Pretty much everyone played poorly though and we managed to kinda sorta stay in the game.

Have you ever been an athlete while you were in college? I was, and let me tell you, it is a lot harder to get into the weight room and get to the cafeteria than you are making it out to be, and I played NAIA baseball, not division 1 basketball. Between long ass practices, community service, and constant team meetings, I was always making up missed homework or copying notes, having study groups with my teammates, or meeting up with my professors on what I missed. Then with the little time I had left, I ate, worked out, and slept. The only time I got to workout consistently was when we were out of school, and at that time your school's athletic weight room is closed for the summer, so you have to do it yourself. To be honest, when I heard Zeller had added 40-50 lbs in college, this surprised me, especially considering basketball is a sport where you constantly are losing weight. The fact is this is the 1st time ever this kid has gotten to focus on basketball and only that, same goes for Dion and Kevin Jones, and they have yet to reach the off season of that 1st season, where they will workout more than they ever have in their life.

Watching Javale McGee play basketball is a tragic sight. His physical attributes are right out of a video game. Unfortunately an 8 year old kid has the controller, just pressing random buttons all the time.

Quote of the night from AC: "He got him a Javale birrrrd"

So, since the 08-09 season I've been to roughly 11 games:

08-09 - Attended 2 games. Those were our only 2 home losses that season
09-10 - Attended 6 games. 5 of those were losses (we had 6 home losses that season I believe)
10-11 - Attended 2 games. Lost both
11-12 - Attended 1 game. Lost
12-13 - Tonight's game was my first of the season. Winning streak over.

Sorry guys.

God damn man. That is brutal lol.

I've been to one game every year since LeBron's last season in Cleveland. And the team with him was the only one that won, unsurprisingly. At least all the games I've been too have been competitive, though.

I can think of one RCF poster who would buy you season tickets...

You'll break the current streak someday (when you stop buying tickets to games against strong teams). :chuckles:

Season tickets are much cheaper than I think people think on here. Under $10 per ticket actually.

Anyways,

1) Tyler Zeller is soft... and awful
2) That was the worst officiating I've seen all year
3) I expect the Cavs to be right back into pre-trade form after this loss

Yeah, tell me about it. Last night's game was surprisingly competitive - I mean we scored a lot of points, but man...they ate us alive inside. None of our bigs came out to play. The crowd was getting PISSED at Zeller.

Haha. That's very possibly the reason why. I hope you're right. 07-08 was the last season that my family split season tickets, so I've been trying to pick and choose my games wisely since. Though if RMDG is as serious as he seems about the tank, I'd be more than willing to suffer a half-season's worth of live failures in order to help the cause! :chuckles:
