While Oladipo has great defensive potencial, his offense is a mess. He doesn't do one thing at elite level(offensively) in college, and that means that his offensive game won't translate to the NBA.
If true, that means it wouldn't transfer immediately, but it doesn't mean that his game could not develop to the point where it does. But he's got a TS% that's tops among the players tracked by DX. How can he not be doing something at an elite level with a TS% over 70%?
In any case, I'd say his off-ball movement/slashing/ability to finish are elite. He's a blur moving to the hoop, has great hops, and finishes. What's going to determine whether he is a mid-round guy or something higher is his shooting. If he keeps shooting at a plus level, and if he continues that in workouts and shows the good form to convince folks that it is a permanent improvement, then he's in top 10 discussions. Great defense, great athleticism, and top-level TS% at a major college program will do that for you.
