Game 56 | Cavaliers @ Heat | Sunday, February 24th| 6:00 pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damn. We are going to be really, really good in a couple years. Kyrie and Dion are legit. Hope we grab Noel in the draft to help our abysmal defense.

Positive in this game is CJ Miles. Without that huge spurt in the 3rd we would have been down a ton.

you pretty much just defined "moral victory".

I see a moral victory as a team playing above themselves and almost coming out on top. that was not the case. One crucial element to a "moral" victory is the players themselves feel they accomplishhed something in the loss. im pretty sure thats not the case. None of those players were satisfied with the result.

Honestly though the play from our rookie Dion was eye opening. One HELL of a game from that kid. That was an all star like performance minus a few quips on defense.

Kyrie did look a bit rattled on both three pointers he took towards the end of the game, they just seemed a bit rushed.
But hey still at least the team showed effort in the 2nd half and let's just hope they've learned something new today.

And yeah Waiters looked sensational tonight... Hoping for more games like this from him.

This was a win win. Great game and we pick up a ping pong ball. Ball should have been in Waiters hands down the stretch. He was drafted specifically so that if they were double teaming kyrie on the perimeter someone else could control the ball. I dont think the Wade Waiters comparisons are all that far fetched.

We're now to the point of analyzing every shot Kyrie takes. Give him a break

Cavs were playing well on both sides of the ball when miles hit his hot streak. he was wide open and the outlet guy. all three of those three pointers were products of the offense.

My God man, he is trying. It just isn't falling tonight.

You need to go back and watch the 4th quarter. Just his defensive effort. Quite sure you can't try any less.

Bad shooting nights will happen. Defensive effort like he had should never happen.

Also on a random side note: I streamed it from fox miami, the commentators said "CJ Miles has been incredible."

I almost spit out my motha fuckin cocoa puffs due to laughter.

On a more serious note, it's pretty sick that Dion is being "the dude" when Irving isn't or can't get in a groove. Looks like we got what we wanted out of the draft. Very important offseason for this cat.

Some of these people complaining must have forgot about how lackadaisical the Lebron Cavs were in back to back games. To pull away from a lousy team in Orlando and come back the next night and almost beat the defending champions is impressive. It doesn't excuse the defensive break downs but how many teams would've came back twice from a huge deficit in the same situation?

No didn't mean to over analyze the shots. I meant it as that's a shame they didn't go in. But what can you do everyone has a night off but if you can say that 17 points and 5 assists is an night off for any player then you know that player is special.
In the end all I can say is I'm glad I stayed up for this one.

I mean, it sucks to lose, but this game was on its way to being a blow-out and the Cavs battled back to take the lead. That's impressive for such a young team against one of the best teams in the league and the defending champions. Yeah, they fell apart at the end, but it happens. The fact that we turned a near twenty-point deficit into a lead of seven is just a starting point for a young team like this.

People need to look on the bright side from time to time. Kyrie had a rough night, but Dion, Zeller, and Thompson all looked really good.

Super impressive poise shown by everyone coming out to that third quarter which usually is where everything falls apart. I guess once you've hit rock bottom you can only go one way:thumbup:

Kyrie did have a guy 6-9, 260, and moves as well as he does on him at the end of the game. Just saying. Rough night for him though.

It's nice having another guy in Waiters that can still attack, and break the defense down too. Unless the team has 5 LB's on the floor, we're not necessarily screwed. :)
