2013 NBA Preseason Game 8 -|- Cavs @ Bobcats -|- October 24th, 7:00PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The second and third teamers went in with 4 minutes left in the first qtr and didn't come out until 4 minutes left in the second. That's a lot of playing time. I am impressed with the first team, but things aren't looking well for the second/third team players (and we're missing several second teamers to injuries) and they of course are using the reserves a lot in the pre-season to see what they can do. I think they'll be just fine at the start of the season next week if everyone comes back from the injuries.

Turnovers from the starters is still a problem. 7 TOs from those guys, and the entire Charlotte team has 4.

I agree with the TO issue. At the same time we're holding them to 40% from the field so the D is holding up and the score is still close even with the TO's.

In a lot of ways, this is the team we were dreaming of last year. Andy healthy, TT with a jump-shot, Kyrie playing D, Dion looking smooth, and a 3rd G who can kick booty. But, instead of getting the Nerlens Noel dream to come true, we have an All-Star C who will be taking the court very soon. Not bad.

Tristan jumper progress meter for this game?

His form is good but 0-2 so far from outside the key. If you go to the box score on ESPN for this game you can go the "shot chart" and then select the player you want to see.

Kylie Irving can literally take over a game at any time.

Thompson and Bennett is pretty brutal defensively.

I like Jermaine Taylor; know he probably won't be around after preseason but he's an interesting player.

Is Taylor realistically in danger of taking Delly's spot?

The Cavs are too high on Delly to replace him with Taylor. Taylor has a spot waiting for him in Canton if he wants it. But I think someone might pick him up. He is more than a D-League guy imo.

That was another nice pass from Bennett to a cutting point guard.

I think Sims and Taylor are better then Delly.
