Game 2 -|- Cavs @ Bobcats -|- Friday, November 1st, 7:00PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I understand MB driving home defensive philosophy. This team needed it and needed it yesterday.

My question is how he will make this offense tick. With Irving, I don't think it's a lapse in ability. He is very uncomfortable in this offense.

That was ugly to watch the whole game, really expected a sure win here after we just beat the Nets at home, but god damn that looks like basketball we saw the past three season. I'm not even looking forward to tomorrow night.

And people saying that the Heat losing to a bad Philly team means this is ok. The Heat have earned the benefit of the doubt. The Heat could lose 10 in a row and no one would be worried. This team hasn't earned that type of faith yet.

You know I imagine the Nets forums where exactly the same as this thread the other night :chuckles:

Am I the only one seeing Kyrie getting doubled and hard hedged every single possession? There is no problem with Kyrie nor is he uncomfortable in this offense, teams are finally giving him the superstar treatment on defense and we need someone on the perimeter to step up and limit those doubles.

Yeah, I understand getting angry after losing because I am too but it would be nice if people could avoid after like the season is over already.

The Good:
Tristan Thompson continues to have a fantastic start to his season.
Jarrett Jack aside from that terrible airball had a another solid game.
CJ Miles continues to add scoring punch off the bench and was one of 3 guys who looked like they cared tonight.
Bynum really looks like he is ready to start extending his minutes. Who would have thunk it. He is a game changer.

The Bad:
Kyrie had another subpar game. I love the assists, but he needs to be more aggressive.
The Refs.. They did everything they could to keep Tristan out of the game and gave the Bobcats 12 more FT attempts (34 in total). Geesh.
Zeller continued to look overmatched. Here's hoping he's still just coming back off of injury.

The Ugly
Dion had a rough game. His defense and hustle were lackluster. He drove to the basket 1 time that I can recall and didnt get a foul call. Gotta keep driving.
Clark looked pretty damn bad. In all actuality he didnt look very good in the first game, he juts happened to make two big/lucky plays. Im hoping he's still adjusting to this team, cause if not he looks like complete bench fodder.
Bennett. Poor, poor Anthony. I really hope that his injury is a legit reason, and not just an excuse for his play so far. Gotta give him a few more weeks before we judge him too harshly.

Still, we played a terrible game and had a chance to beat an improved Charlotte team. I think they have a chance to fight for an 8 seed with that defensive focus.

TT was unreal!! But I just can't get why all the plays were going through Jack and Miles in the 4th quarter, i know Miles was hot but I mean they could have at least tried to get Kyrie going, not just have him play him off the ball. Kyrie didn't play that bad, he carried us at the beginning but like I said, he just didn't get a lot of touches in the 4th. It is a shame that he got hit in the funny bone and missed those 2 free throws, that would've been big.

Zeller, waiters, Bennett, Clark, and gee give you 3pts in 74 minutes it's gonna be tough to beat my rec league team.

This team isn't a playoff team.

Need I remind you, you were the guy saying "season over" in all the Indians game threads.

My question is how he will make this offense tick. With Irving, I don't think it's a lapse in ability. He is very uncomfortable in this offense.

That's what we're paying that Russian guy to figure out.

Everyone in here is funny. I am not upset about this loss at all. I just witnessed Tristan Thompson's coming out party. He played well last game too, but geez, this was ridiculous. It was his second game as a right handed player and does that. I have no idea what this kids ceiling is.

I just hope TT's ankle is alright and good for tmr's game
Without TT's, there's no one can go against hibbert , west , socla and mahimi (basically the whole front court of pacers)
