had a soccer game at 10PM tonight so i recorded the game and just finishined watching it now

may or may not have dislocated my knee cap, we will see tomorrow, i'm nearing finishing a fifth of beam to take the pain away (prolly exaggerating here but damn my gf got me a fifth of jb for vday, damn shes good)

just want to say that dion is a fuckin baller and i am so excited fo the future...its really eye-opening, the difference in upbringing between kyrie and dion....i really believe that they can bring the best out of each other and i'm so exicted to see the future unfold. i really hope it works out for the best, damn i love dion and his chip on his shoulder

go cavs and goooooodnight.

He can be a really good shooter. He just gets red hot.

Everyone hating on Dion...god a Cleveland player tears up the National stage and we hate on it...let the kids grow...

I only speak for myself, but I'm not hating on Dion for his performance tonight. If I'm hating on anything, it's the stage he did it on. A game where defense is optional and he choose to focus on offense, not his fault as it seemed no one wanted to play solid D.

I'm not taking anything away from Dions' performance in this game. I'm not going to say he's living up to his draft spot by this game either. That's not his fault either, being picked #4. I believe some of the disdane for his growth is that one would expect a #4 overall pick to develop an all-around complimentary game faster than what he is. Whether he should be the player getting complimented or he should be doing the complimenting is not the issue. It's been his body language all year and the "rumors" about his immaturity that is driving some of us fans "nuts". We have all seen when Dion plays within the team, he's instrumental to the teams success. Seeing as how we've only won 20 games and these last 4 are the best example of him playing within the team, I am holding out on raising my judgement on him. He's young and still obviously has a long way to go, but I do believe he can get there. Question becomes, does the FO and Coaches believe he will get there sooner rather than later? If it's sooner than all those clamoring not to trade him shouldn't fear. If it's later, then he is a trade chip.

I like Dions game, but not with the roster the way it is. Something has to change and I hold no sway it what direction that goes.

I think you are both at an extreme.

He isn't the best passer on the team, and he has a low assist ratio. When he does drive he generally finds an open man with a decent or good pass if the opportunity is there and his scoring option is cut off. He is excellent at making the easy dump pass when a big rotates to him too early, and I would guess that is where the majority of his assists come from.

He isn't a blackhole chucker either, but he is inefficient. As his shot selection improves with experience so should his efficiency.

In his current form he is a streaky inefficient scorer who can make plays for his teammates and who is just as likely to go off in a given game as he is to vanish, generally depending on if his early shot is falling. He shows elite penetrating ability but sub par finishing ability. This is also his second year, if he continues to improve on his weaknesses which he almost certainly will, he should be a solid player.

I'm not really sure what extreme I took.

He is inefficient. This is not the same as being a chucker.

Being the best passer, that's just something that I see. It isn't quantified in numbers.

As for trading Dion, I mean I'm open to everyone getting moved. But for Harrison Barnes? No. No no no no no.

There is no doubt in my mind Dion Waiters contains more talent right now that Harrison Barnes will 3 years from now. It's an all-star game, and no one was trying, but there are still things you notice. Mainly, Harrison Barnes not being able to get around Kelly Olynyk when he had the ball in his hands.

To be fair, Olynyk is rather mobile and has dreamy hair.

It's actually cool to see Boobie again. Hope he's doing well.

Just watched the whole game. Waiters looked like he hated all their guts:chuckles:

C Webb doesn't pay attention to the Cavs.

Probably remembers hearing that Waiters looked a little chubby at the beginning of last season and can't tell the difference between then and now.
Tell C Webb to go call a time out!!

I don't care what anyone says about no defense being played. For 2 players to go back and forth like Dion and Hardaway did was amazing. They were actually playing better Defense on Dion, so I don't see how it was just a gimmie. Bottom line is Dion can ball and it looks like something could be holding him back right now in Cleveland from doing that. Maybe after tonights performance, Mike Brown will see the light finally.

Dion completely deserved that MVP. All Drummoned did was dunk the ball from Waiters assists and get rebound lol. Waiters put on a damn show out there.

It should have gone to either Waiters or Hardaway but I bet its due to how Dion talks. Hate to say it but he has some trouble getting the words out correctly...
