Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

The trade kicker on Andy means that he gets a 5% raise if traded. Now for the millionth time in this thread, Andy's contract is either 4.5M or 9 million depending on if he is waived or not. We can't wipe his contract off entirely unless he's traded and we can't renegotiate the contract until it expires at the end of this upcoming season.

The could also use the stretch provision to let that guaranteed money stretch out over 3 years. That would create a $1.5M salary cap hit each year for three years.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

He didn't like Ray Allen, either, though, did he?

I was surprised that Magician Riley had to pay as much as he did for them; figured if the Heat were such a sure thing for ring-chasers they'd agree to vet minimums.

Lebron and Ray were actually on good terms even when Ray played in Boston. It was Pierce, Rondo, and KG that Lebron didn't like and vice versa.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

If LeBron is still in Miami, that's not a good sign. If he was going to change teams, he would be out of there. Cleveland seems to be stuck in limbo land right now; they can't really do anything concrete without his commitment.

Seems like LeBron wants to stay in Miami and is giving Riley every last chance to do something so he can save face and say Riley did this and that and, although it was close, in the end, Pat made this team better.

Chris Broussard, you out there? Give me something, brother.

My advice, don't become a psychiatrist... You are the most pessimistic mind reader out there.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

Once again seems like a lot of rookies in the safari .

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

I want my safari underwear!

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

He is filming a commercial. Has likely been setup for months.

Definitely. Also makes me think he's waiting to announce until these commitments are over with and he's out of FL.

Re: The Lebron Safari 2014

Dont want Kevin Love on this team at all.....He's not worth giving up a surplus of young talent.

yea he is, Love is only 25 years old
