Hello,
I'm another Israeli David Blatt's fan who is now a Cavs fan
and I'll try to answer your question which is not a Yes or No answer.
First of all, Blatt as mentioned in the media is not a one-system-no-matter what type of coach, he does adapt his system to the roster and to what's going on in the game and who is hot.
Blatt takes his time to build his 5 starters and after some testing he will get the starters locked for a long time.
But don't expect the 5 starters to play the whole game or 30+ minutes no matter what because they are the starters.
Blatt can make a lot of substitutions during the game, in some games there will be plenty and in others less but at the end of the day, and this is the most important, the players know that they are part of a unit and Blatt knows how to keep them focused even if a player used to play 20+ minutes for a long period of time and now he almost doesn't play. He strives for success and winning and this is addictive and players know that if they practice hard Blatt will see that and give them a spot in the show.
You will also see times where Blatt will do "an educational seminar" to a player who didn't give his heart in defense and will be put in the "freezer" for the rest of the game. But be sure that this player will act differently the next game... This is another view on Blatt's coaching.
