Because Birdman still isn't that good of an option. If we're getting a quality big it'll be through a trade, not free agency.

Would have to think this probably means Ray Allen is more likely to come here. If it was 75 percent, it is probably closer to 90 now.

Great move! Had his best season in a while last year; played all 82 games. With our depth, he can easily come off the bench for 10-15 a game with no pressure at all but to hit those open threes.

Hopefully Allen joins him for vet min once we've gone over the cap for our other signings.

We're so close to a championship team. If we can swing Love for 2/3 of Waiters, Bennett and Thompson + picks + a filler and sign a defensive center we're in great shape.

Any more MLE?

Now with Vet minimums thats a number that is based off of service correct? So in theory we could sign 4 guys at $2 mil ea if that is there minimums?

The only downside of this news is it probably means less minutes for Wiggins. Even more so if Allen comes on board.
You'd have to think either Waiters or Wiggins are primed to be moved...

If somehow it is possible to roll into next year with this line up, there is no doubts we'd be favorites to win the title

We dont get the full MLE this year since we are under the cap.

vet min maxes out at like 1.4 for the old farts

Nope Miller used that up.

And yes vet min depends on service. We can sign as many of those guys that will accept the offer.
