In a little over a week, we'll have 3 of the 10 starters from the 2014 NBA All-Star game.. As a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, think about that for a bit and let it sink in

After LeBron left us who would of thought that?

I'd love it if the NBA went back to 2 guard, 2 forwards and 1 center for the All Star game.

East starters could be Kyrie, Wade, LeBron, Love and Bosh.

This could happen cause Kyrie and wade guards and isn't it 3 forwards?

This actually has a good chance of happening if Bosh goes back to 25 and 10. Cause you know Wade Lebron and Kyrie are locks to start.

I'd almost give Love the nod too cause he's on the Cavs and the whole world is gonna magically be a Cavs fan next year

Between regular season and playoffs, Kevin Love will have more nationally televised games this season then he likely has had in 6 years in Minnesota and 1 year at UCLA. I think most fans have probably seen him play only a couple of NBA games so really have no idea how he might fit into the Cavs.

I think most casual NBA fans outside of Minnesota are more familiar with Love's ridiculous stat-lines than actually having watched him play intently.

Love I going to put on a show this year... anyone sad over losing Wiggins will soon get over it.. this team may have some growing pains the first 15 games or so but they are going to be a machine after 30-35 games

I have to believe Carmelo will beat out Bosh.

I actually think Derrick Rose is more popular than Kyrie. Think he'll get the starting bid.

And I don't see Bosh beating out Melo either. Bosh will put up better stats because he'll be the #1 option again on offense (or a close #2) but I see Melo having a career year...and the NY factor will probably be too much to overcome from a voters standpoint.

when drose was healthy kyrie still had considerably more all star votes. Kyrie wasn't an injury replacement. He got a large number of fans votes (don't know why he was pretty bad first half of the season) However he's gonna have to play a lot better than drose and the cavs have to be better than the bulls if he wants to start again. Imo

Kyrie was voted in by the coaches in 2013. Derrick Rose was the starter because he got more votes but he was injured so Chris Bosh started in his place.

In 2014, Kyrie was voted in as a starter with 860,000 votes. Derrick Rose was injured early on in the year though and Rondo was sat out with his ACL injury until December (roughly) so there wasn't much competition.

When Derrick Rose got voted as a starter in 2013 he got 1.5 million votes. As I said earlier, the most votes Kyrie has gotten was barely more than half of that number. I'd love for Kyrie to start but I think that right now Derrick Rose is the more popular player and will garner more votes.
