So what exactly else are we shipping off to Minnesota? Bennett and Wiggins aren't enough to make salaries work out in a trade. Can we package the unguaranteed contracts yet?

All major reports to date have said Bennett, Wiggins, and a first-round pick (the 2015 Miami pick) for Love.

Bennett and Wiggins are enough to match Love's salary as long as he's the only player acquired by the Cavs in the trade.

Wiggins and Bennett are enough on their own. According to the cap rules, the Cavaliers only have to send out ~10.7M in order to "match" the salary.

Get excited fellas!

I am excited about the starting 4 and AV is just the walking embodiment of how I hope the whole team plays with hunger and balls to the wall passion/energy.

I feel a little like we lost the underdog groom & grow blue collar je ne sais quoi to over night most hated.

Kind of like trading a ground & pound smash mouth running game for a pass happy scheme in football. We have arrived with a whole new identity as a team and franchise. On the precipice of making relevant championship history as a Cleveland sports team. What's not to like.

This is going to be one hell of a ride and anytime you achieve success or acclaim haters raise there heads so let them hate. Hoping we all band together to witness & usher in this new age of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball.

This may be the best off season I can remember in CLE sports history. Just insane how the Cavs morphed into this monster team. I give the Spurs an assist for getting Lebron back in town.

So, once the dust has settled, the Cavs will have kept 5 of 15 players from last years roster.

That's pretty amazing when you stop and think about it.

From the roster that closed the season, they "lost" CJ Miles, Hawes and Deng to free agency, traded Jack, Karasev, Bennett, Felix, Gee, Zeller and Hopson, along with the #1 overall pick in the draft and two future #1 and 2 future #2's.

Then sign the greatest player on the planet, Mike Miller, James Jones and Sean Marion, trade for Kevin Love, Brendan Haywood and the "Non-guarenteed 3".

And there's STILL a chance of another deal and potentially signing Ray Allen to a minimum contract?

Starting to think "Momentous" may have been an understatement by Griffin.

What do you mean it may be? It's clearly the best offseason in Cavs history, and by a ridiculous margin.

I don't know if we can embed Tweets, but I did hear the following:

Mark Stein of ESPN tweeted that Wiggy can be traded by 12:01 tomorrow morning (or tonight, if you're one of them).

I still have a feeling that there will be a token period of "negotiations" that make it seem like the details haven't yet been ironed out and need discussion. My prediction has been that the Cavs will have Love by Monday. I think the Sunday SportsCenter will be all over it, though.

My dads friends are saying love now has knee issues and the trade my not happen?? I havent seen or heard anything like this... has anyone else?

Well he has had knee surgery... crack detective work by your dad's drinking buddies.

Just trying to post tweets and see what works. This is just copying the tweet onto the clipboard and pasting.

I'm told Andrew Wiggins becomes eligible to be traded at 12:01 AM Saturday ... in other words as soon as the calendar flips to Aug. 23
