NBA 2K15

Total newb here but how do you shoot free throws? Does right trigger make you sprint? What buttons for multiple dribbles/fakeouts ect.
 
There's probably a massive day one patch that's downloading in the background that's preventing you from accessing the actual game. I've had that happen with a few games back when the Xbone came out.
 
I can do quick games and blacktop. Any thing else and it freezes.
 
I havent run into freezing, but servers are still down
 
Total disaster with the online experience.

2K has two release dates, one for the game, and one for the goddamn game to work.
 
Anyone been lucky enough to get into MyTeam yet?
 
For how much 2k talked about "Your time has come" I'd sure hope they would actually let us have a time to play anything besides a quick game. I got to play 30 minutes of my player the morning of release, come back home and the entire game is destroyed. My MyPlayer has turned into a white guy with a crazy haircut and I cannot do anything I want to do. Next gen my ass.
 
I haven't bought NBA 2K since 2012, so I was going to pick up the '15 version for old gen (getting a bone after xmas).

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a 5v5 pickup-game mode in the game where you don't have to pre-assemble a team. that's what i'm really looking for.

I believe so. There is The Park, which allows you to use your MyPlayer and play pick up games with other people. Or Team Up online where it is 5 on 5 with NBA teams and you randomly get assigned a player to play with.

Actually, I do have one issue - every time I boot up the game, I have to create a new MyPlayer. Anyone else run into this?
