Kevin Love shot the ball 10 times.
LeBron shot the ball 11 times tonight.
Dion got 11 shots up.
Andy got 13.

We run a motion based offense. Our guys are going to take the best shot available and exploit matchups. The amount of shots our stars shoot on any given night will fluctuate depending on who we're playing. Don't see the point of complaining about Love's shots, or lack thereof, in a preseason game that we're going to win. It's not like we froze him out. He was still an active part of our offense ever time up the floor. He got touches so I don't see the problem.
 
love shoots under 45% against noah and is 1-14 @ 42% against Gasol.

They got him the ball. he couldnt do much with it. you got too much offensive talent to force the ball to someone . Love will have plenty of matchups he gets the ball all day long.
 
Pretty solid win. Glad we've got games against Chicago and Memphis to give our guys a good test.
 
Agree with wanting to see more Love in pick and rolls as well as LBJ in pick and rolls and Love in the post, although I think we're holding back our entire offense until the regular season.

I like this if we have ball movement because it leaves Love open for 3 on the weak side after a couple rotation passes. We just need whoever is playing center above the FT line to catch it and quickly move it around.
 
Our offense in the pre-season has 10 more facets than Brown was able to install through a whole season last year. I can only imagine what this is going to look like after a few years of continuity.

David Blatt is a godamn genius.
 
Bulls may have went into it a game as a typical preseason game but near the halfway point of the 2nd quarter they got slapped in the mouth and pride took over. Blatt did a fine job of baiting the bulls to bring their a game. then at the end when the Bulls are in full commit with all their starters . Blatt pulls out three of his .

Love should get 10 paint touches a game.. period.. I mean it is a 26ppg scorer with all the talent in the world.. I understand we run a ball moving offense but that ball needs to find its way into Love's hands on the block much more

Give it some time. These guys are not only having to learn each other but an entirely new system at the same time. Shots and touches are going to fluctuate like crazy over the next 3 months or so while adjustments are made and people figure each other out.

It's amazing how wide open TT and Andy are finding themselves, we just have so many weapons there is no way to guard them all.
