you can tell Kyrie and Dion (and even TT missed one yesterday i think) still have no idea how to feed a post player. Love had good post position a lot and they just couldn't get him the ball. that's gonna take some time

Yeah. That's one thing Love's going to have to get used to- he did have Rubio up there, who was about as savvy-passing PG as you can get (although Idk specifically about his post-feeds, one would imagine he was the one who built Pek into a post threat)

If only we had Jeff McInnis. Yep. Good old pre-injury J-Mac.

Teams are game planning to stop love. It's why Andy is getting such good looks. The tram will need to grow and find ways to get him going. He probably will end up with some high post sets they use to get him touches and facilitate the offense

He has to get more involved. He and Andy should be established first, then let the defense collapse and then pummel them with threes and drives. Ball movement was great yesterday from Kevin though. You have to love the roster's unselfishness

I think both of these are true. Andy was not so wide open all night scoring 22 for no reason. Tristan also had a good night and it was largely due to the attention they were paying to Love. Just having him on the floor drawing the attention is worthwhile as it sets up a good finishing big like Andy. I don't care at all that Love shot so poorly, he was effective anyway.

I also think that we need to establish the inside game first. Get love some post ups immediately and have him draw some fouls. Then we can use dribble penetration to get to the line and really break down the D. I think the ability of the team to hit outside shots could hurt as at times this year as layer go cold after falling in love with the jumpshot. They put up a stat last night that the Cavs have shot he most 3's. I def appreciate the 3pt % of multiple guys on the team, but I don't want them turning into 2009 Orlando which was a good team, but actually relied on the 3 to win.

If it lets us beat great teams like Chicago by double digits I'm sure Love won't mind being a decoy all season lol

Man wasn't it nice to see LeBron deferring to Kyrie? LBJ willingly gave up the rock, and let Irving go iso as if he had a teammate who can finally get fucking buckets at will. Read that again, LeBron James, in a Cleveland uniform willingly defers to competent "killer instinct" teammate who goes off on a rampage. How wonderful was that to see?

What's even better is having Love waiting in the wings, Love could have added 20 extra points to our score.

-We have no team chemistry to really speak of.

Love

Think mo, delonte, wally, sasha, jamison..

He finally deferred to a competent teammate.

I rewound the play in that gif about six times last night, just odd. You can see him let down he didn't get the open shot and then he immediately celebrates.

Looks a lot like "hey, I'm open.... awwww shucks.... oh yeah!"

I too am a little surprised, but I think this is more about timing than anything. Why not try to get the most out of these young players who can potentially, and literally, help extend your successful career?

Wondering if people even noticed why you posted that gif...

because Cavs haters don't realize that;

1. Kyrie was en fuego during that period
2. KLove was ice cold all game
3. KLove fist pumps when the shot drops
4. That has always been Kyrie's shot

I admit to not know what's going on with that gif, other than the last tenth of a second of it appears to be from the previous possession. I watched it a couple dozen times till I started to sort out what I was seeing at the end. WTF?

Watch Love after Kyrie shoots.

It vaguely looks like Love is doing a Jon Lajoie hump
